Coma16 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Stop trying to make Low Winter Sun happen, AMC. It's not going to happen.I pvr'd LWS but it doesn't look anything special to me. Quote
arnold layne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 To be fair it takes time for TV shows to develop. I didn't like the first episode of Breaking Bad either. Quote
bacardimayne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The Pilot was great you hooray for tolerance!. Quote

Powerage5 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The ending scene with Hank and Walt was awesome! Not sure where Jesse goes after that episode but it seemed clear that he didn't believe Walt and I think he will play a big part in his downfall. Also glad to see me theory about the cancer being back was true, although Walt might have been lying about that to try and stop Hank but I doubt it.Very much agree with you Bacardi, Walt's ego won't let him back down so he will be putting the pressure on Hank.VG confirmed on Talking Bad that Walt's cancer is back. Don't forget he was at chemo when he was on the phone with Saul. And the pills he was hiding under the sink when he had to throw up. Quote

Can't wait to find out about his house.Amazing scene.I want to know who the people are in the backyard, and the complete destruction is unbelievable.Think they're just skating there because the house has been abandoned. Crazy that ppl are like squatting in a house like that in a nice neighborhood. Makes you wonder if sumthing crazy happened there to tolerate that kind of behavior and those types of people.??They were just a bunch of regular kids skateboarding - hardly the criminal/thug/drug dealer types. Meth lab blew up inside it, that's my guess.Definitely not. Have you seen what a place looks like after a meth lab blows up in it? Total destruction - even worse than a regular fire. Randy Lahey Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Is anybody else pulling for Walt still? Quote

Gordon Comstock Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Is anybody else pulling for Walt still?Yea, but kinda hesitantly... How he handles his relationship with Jesse over the next few episodes will be very interesting. Quote
arnold layne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Is anybody else pulling for Walt still?Yes mainly because I find Hank more unlikable. Quote
Randy Lahey Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Skyler is the only one on the show that I find unlikable. Quote

RussTCB Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The only TV show I would ever consider purchasing the complete box set.I'm breaking out the popcorn tonight, boys.Watched it last night and LOVED It. I've got it replaying on the DVR right now as a matter of fact I haven't bought any of the blu-rays yet as I got the same feeling about wanting to buy it. Whatever deluxe edition of the complete series that comes out on blu ray is what I'll be owning. Quote
chevelle Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Is anybody else pulling for Walt still?Sort of. I still don't truly want to see him die or get thrown in jail, but I think he's past the point of redemption, too. If anything I'm pulling for Jesse to make as clean a break as possible, and try to have a normal life after everything's said and done. Quote
izzygirl Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) Is anybody else pulling for Walt still?I am! I still think deep inside he is a good person. I've read somewhere today that the creator said the end will be somehow a small victory for him, but that doesn't really mean anything.Just watched the episode (thank those kind pirates who subtitle an episode in seconds) and it was pretty good, though I expected more of it. The best moment was the Hank and Walt conversation in the end and I can't wait to see how their relationship will be from now on. Edited August 12, 2013 by izzygirl Quote

No shit but it almost looked like ppl were squatting there. And if he has cancer again how is his hair long in that scene?1. Either he lied about the cancer2. We don't know how much time has passed from the flash-forward to the "present" time in the series, so it's possible he doesn't have cancer at that point. Quote
bacardimayne Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 He could be off the chemo. That's what causes the hair loss. 1 Quote
Black Sabbath Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Well yeah, or that. Part of me wants to believe that in the flash-forwards he's completely cancer free, but alone (most likely because mostly everyone else is dead probably). Quote
Tater Totts Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Doubt he will be cancer free, they showed him coughing when he entered the house and as he has lung cancer I take that as a sure sign it is still there. Quote
luciusfunk Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I think he's still got cancer, just off of chemo. If he's on the run, which he appears to be, he wouldn't be able to do chemo. If he's lying about the cancer being back, explain the chemo and drugs under the sink. 1 Quote
drtydane Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Starting the first season over again. Amazing series. Think I like season 4 the better. Quote
Ace Nova Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 My guess is he "gave up" fighting the cancer after knowing that he was going to spend the rest of his life in jail/die, therefore he is off the chemo/ hair grew back. The "fast forward" scene is either after he was granted some sort of asylum/house arrest because of the cancer or he's been running from the law (would make sense, judging by his outfit)....or maybe he found a way to fake his own death (that would explain the absolute look of shock from his neighbor). Quote
drtydane Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 .or maybe he found a way to fake his own death (that would explain the absolute look of shock from his neighbor). Was thinking that myself. Quote
Gordon Comstock Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 or maybe he found a way to fake his own death (that would explain the absolute look of shock from his neighbor). That could tie in with the guy Saul can contact to make him and his family "disappear"... Quote
