ChristmasFnatic
Pretty catchy song, and well liked. Maybe remove one of the ChiDem songs for this one? Also, back in the 90s, how often is this played?
gunsfanoldie
It was played fairly often in the 90s. I don't know if you could remove one ChiDem song because there are hardly any left in the setlist. Get rid of a cover. Would be cool for them to pull it out although its not one I'm dying to hear. Also I don't know how Axl would sound singing it these days.

jimb0
Maybe Axl doesn't play it because he's trying to be nicer and more respectful of women since gaining a mother?

RussTCB
I would love for PTU to make a come back... any of the lesser played UYI material for that matter. Who knows what's down the line. They added Estranged, You're Crazy and Civil War over the past couple tours so I'd say they could get around to more/others in coming tours.

alfierose
Maybe Axl doesn't play it because he's trying to be nicer and more respectful of women since gaining a mother? He still plays ISE, I think that's worse in terms of misogynistic lyrics. wasted
I dont think it was played all that much they opened with it in RIR or something. I think its an Izzy song and they already play a lot of hits off UYI. A lot of UYI songs seem tainted by a feeling of the bands demise.
ManetsBR
It's an Izzy song.
wasted
Axl is working the hits with his songs and CD songs. Theres no one wanting to fight to play Bad obsession or pretty tied up.
liers
It's been on the preshow setlist, but it's never been played by the new band. I wouldn't remove a CD song, they need more of those if anything. Get rid of a cover song, if anything. The old band used to open with it now and then. The line about a band becoming a joke though may turn axl off of playing it though.Axl should switch the set list up every show. Rocket queen, LALD, Patience, ISE, and Brownstone could be dropped for a show or two once and a while and replaced with songs like, Dead Horse, Coma, Perfect Crime, Pretty Tied Up, The Garden, And other UYI and CD songs. EvH
Drop Patience or Heaven's Door. Like, really, they're the most boring songs live.

But not at the expense of CD songs.Oh I hear ya. I've heard every song off of CD live in person except for Prostitute (which I still hope to hear one day!) but I still never get sick of them. If they do some of those marathon style sets from UCaP again in the future, I'd love to see the high concentration of CD tunes along with continued adding of older, lesser known jams. magisme
It would make sense. Great song, and he just has to talk-sing for most of it, so few overly embarrassing vocal moments to be had.
RussTCB
Axl doesn't like the Use Your Illusion albums.I sometimes wonder if that really is the case. I know he's said things against a lot of the material on UYI over the years so I'm guessing that's why so much of it doesn't get touched.

From what DJ and Bumblefoot had said, they had to know the entire catalog of songs when they joined the band. The only one I'm not sure of is Coma because of the effects, but Pitman probably has it ready to go. I'm just surprised Axl's not burnt out on his own songs by now. rocknroll41
I love "Pretty Tied Up," it's one of my all-time favorite GN'R songs and I honestly think it should've been on their Greatest Hits.
