jimb0
I like going down almost better than anything on CD. I'm not going to say it's better than every song, but I like the style and chemistry better.
jamesrandolph
am i missing something? i heard a non-finished demo with vocals low, the mix split in different channels.....unfinished song, not mixed, demo
InStep
Remember this is a demo and not the final mix. However judging on that its better than..if the worldscrapedRaidcatcherThose songs are a bit overkill and could do with stripping down. I love going down that its not over produced (yet).Anybody who thinks it's better than Catcher In The Rye is seriously deluded. Catcher is one of the best songs Axl's ever written IMO. Going Down is a decent b-side at best. How is somebody deluded for thinking that? In your opinion it's one of the best songs Axl's ever written but that doesn't mean everybody shares your view.Personally I agree with Axl_morris and I think Going Down is better than those songs he listed. jamesrandolph
i heard an unfinished demo with lead guitar loud in the left channel and vocals sometimes low and solely in the right channel with rhythm, i mean... who wants to listen to an unfinished demo like that? i prefer listening to released songs that are properly mixed, whether they are by gnr or a different band

J Dog
No. I do like it though, I'd like to hear another song or two like this from them.
Subtle Signs
No way.It would be a decent b-side and that's about all.

ll_tj1
Reminds me alot of Izzy Stradlin type songs. His solo stuff. But with Axl doing the backing vocals it gives it a bit of a Dust & Bones feel to me, or when Gilbey Clarke covered Dead Flowers with Axl backing him up.i heard an unfinished demo with lead guitar loud in the left channel and vocals sometimes low and solely in the right channel with rhythm, i mean... who wants to listen to an unfinished demo like that? i prefer listening to released songs that are properly mixed, whether they are by gnr or a different bandThe version I have isn't doing that....The one with seperate channels is the original leak. The one where they are not separated and all of the sounds are in stereo has been remixed. Edited August 16, 2013 by ll_tj1
Crash Diet
I think this song will be a good replacement for one of the CD songsesp Rhiad or ScrapedRemember this is a demo and not the final mix. stumbleine
amazingly, with leaking one song,Axl's sound has "evolved ".song is very Izzy'ish.I agree that it's more like original GNR than the CD sound.
liers
This song wouldn't go well on Chinese Democracy. It has a different sound. It's more raw and original sounding than the over produced stuff on CD.Again, I like CD and I'm not bashing it.

nambis
I really don't like any of the songs on CD. SR is ok because it's fast, but the rest of the songs are pretty "meh" and there are a bunch of downright terrible songs like Riad, scraped, prostitute, ITW, etc. I like Going Down a lot more than all those shitty songs. I'm also a huge fan of OMG. Hopefully we get a record full of fast rockers this time. I'm just downloading this time though, as I still feel completely ripped off by the PIECE OF SHIT vinyl that I paid $35 for.

Kapitch_77
I just listened to Going Down again.. it's cringeworthy... and CD songs are depressing. As a fan I'm doomed if this is the best the band can make :/

We've all read your negative comment 50 times, why don't you go back to Attitude and post in the GD threads there? You're mistaken, it was the first time I said it's cringeworthy. I don't hate guns n roses, in fact it's one of my favorite bands, I just don't like what this incarnation do, just like I like Black Sabbath but mostly the original band. But you, you'll like whatever song that pops up on the internet with Axl on it, not better. If you like the song so much I suppose you have all the albums by Stinson because the song is just as good as any other Stinson song, the only difference is this one has Axl's backing vocals. The new section is for fans from all era of the band in case you didn't know so I'm here, like it or not. And if you don't like it and you want to read nothing but positive comments I guess you know where to go.
