This show has been on for a few years now. I think Slashs licence was alomost pawned or was I dont remember.

I have yet to see that episode.

I read that, online, I think on wikipedia on the Pawn Stars episode list page when I googled guns n' roses+pawn stars.

Since I'm in the UK, I couldn't just go HistoryChannel.com and watch that.

I've seen that spin off Cajun Pawn Stars, but there's this other one coming soon called Pawn Stars UK

This does intrigue me. Starts 26th of August...

There's usually something of interest on each episode. I watched it alot when it first came out, but not so much anymore.

There's also a guy on Pawn Stars who does the refinishing work on old gas station pumps and soda machines etc, he does nice work and I think hes got his own show now.

I can't fucking stand all of these shows on History channel and shit.

Swamp People, Ice Road Truckers, Pawn Stars, Ancient Aliens, it's all shit. The only enjoyable one is Kitchen Nightmares.

Ice Road truckers was pretty good, especially because of the competiton among all the drivers. All those shows couldn't be more fake though.

Rick's book is worth checking out, Old Man, Hoss & Chum add their stories to it, the entrepreneur related info on how they set up shop in Vegas was good as well as crazy money made in fads, as well as what kind of person would be able to handle someone parting with things they love and putting it up for sale or to cover a loan. Some celebrity stories, they wound up with a few athlete's rings... it's Vegas and athletes piss away money (I don't remember any rock stars mentioned).

Most of them were fuckups, including Rick. Of course, pawn shops run into all types, esp. in Vegas.

I don't watch the show as much as I used to, but it isn't bad. I think it's interesting to see what things people have stored in their homes, the history behind them, and what they're actually worth. It's amazing how little people are willing to settle for. They go in saying 'I wouldn't take less than $10,000.00 for this' and then walk out with $500.00.

Yeah, I always wondered about that. Given the fact that the store is located in the gambling capital of the world, I wonder how many of those people are gambling addicts.

You guys do know that it is all staged, right? In real life The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop just buys, sells and pawns gold and jewelry.

Where did you hear that? I've had friends and cousins go there and it's a typical Pawn Shop. They buy and sell everything that is on the show.

I've worked in a pawn shop and even managed it, around the corner from my house...

The most interesting item that ever came in while I was working there was a dog for sale!.. We didn't buy it.

My best buy was either a DVD player I got for £5.00 - What was cool about that was, I knew the customer wanted

more and I had my boss watching me from the back as I got the price from him and I offered £3.00, and then they felt better about accepting that £5.00 offer... Or... The time I opened up with barely any floater (cash to buy) and

I managed to buy a Vacuum Cleaner for £2.00 and a CD player worth £70.00 for £4.00!

Those were the buys that stuck out to me the most lol. - I was also into this show when I got that job.

The best part was..." $50,000.00!?!? If this was worth $50,000.00 Slash would be saying he lost his driver's license once a month and selling it."

I stopped into their shop when I was in Vegas earlier this year, its surprsingly small and and average aside from the cool shit they have on display. I liked the show when it first came out but I haven't watched it in a while, as far as reality TV goes it really isn't a bad show but it does get old.

Somebody just needs to make a youtube video thats a compilation of all the times Rick is laughing.

The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is basically a souvenir shop in real life. You have to pay just to be let in

No you don't, they just keep good track of the number of people in the store so theres usually a line outside, I waited in line for like 4 minutes and just walked in.
