Hannibal second season

Saw a preview of the new Dracula, but that looks boring to me. I doubt that show is going to last too long. Most of the shows I watch are renewed, so I'll be continuing to watch them. Not really too excited about some shows coming on this season. But since most of the shows I watch have been renewed, I'm happy about the new season.

Anyone watch The Crazy Ones? Being a big fan of Robin Williams, I enjoyed it. He was definitely playing Robin Williams in it

Yeah...I don't know. It was enjoyable but at the same time I can't imagine it sustaining itself without some serious retooling. It's sort of trying for a Boston Legal/30 Rock mash up, but the pilot was amusing without being funny, so it failed on both counts. I hope it succeeds and gets better, I have missed SMG a lot (although she deserves better than being stuck as the exasperated straight man and she better get it). Will be interested to see what the ratings are like.

South Park's premiere was strong. Enjoyed The Blacklist, but only because of Spader. On board with Agents of Shield.

None really. I want good ratings (over 8.0) on IMDB and preferably a whole season of it before I even check a show out. I'm no hurry to get a new show to watch, There's plenty of old greats that I've yet to see.

You have the right idea.

Chuck Lorre is probably the best sitcom writer today.

Who is your pick? Can't be Larry David anymore. :shrugs:

Dan Harmon.

Armando Iannucci.

I think it could be better than most sitcoms. It isn't dumbed down and has Robin's quick witted humor. Unfortunately, I could see it not surviving because it doesn't have a laugh track to let people know when they have to laugh. Hopefully it survives.

I'm looking forward to "Mom" because I'm a big fan of Anna Faris and Chuck Lorre is probably the best sitcom writer today. It's about a recovering alchoholic single mother, with Anna playing the lead role. It also stars Nate Corddry, the younger brother of Rob.

And "The Crazy Ones" starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar, about a father-daughter advertising team. It's a David E. Kelley sitcom, so it should be good.

Also "Back In The Game" starring James Caan, who plays a beer-loving ex-baseball player living with a divorced ex-softball star single mother.

And "The Black List" starring another favorite of mine, James Spader who plays a highly wanted fugitive that teams up with the FBI to help them track down notorious criminals.

Also "The Goldbergs", which is a comedy about a family living in the 80's. Sounds like another version of Married With Children?

And "Dads" starring Seth Green & Martin Mull and created by Seth MacFarlane, a comedy about two video game developers whose fathers move in with them. This is going to be a controversial show with lots of pushing-the-envelope jokes.

So far, I liked The Crazy Ones. I thought the second episode of Dads was a little better than the first. I didn't like The Goldbergs as much as I wanted to, but my DVR is still set to grab them so I'm hoping it improves. I recorded Mom (Anna Farris) as well but haven't viewed the pilot yet.
