The ONLY records I have that are autographed were done so by the artists when I met them. Never in one million years would I pay extra for an autograph.

I don't care about autographs much myself but i feel like getting the autograph in person is what is special about them.

Buying something already signed is so impersonal.

New video :)

Do you have any live like a suicide pressings. Would be very interested in a post about those from you, wasn't there a Russian pressing plant that had the plates and could press essentially counterfeit pressings, do they sound good, how can u tell difference between legit and not legit etc.

I've got two now, one was sealed but I'm questionable to its legitimacy - in all honesty I don't think back then they would have been sealed (I've opened and enjoyed it). The other Is beat up as all hell, pops n skips etc.

I've had a few Live Like A Suicide pressings over the years. The only one I have currently is the one from the Locked & Loaded set. To my knowledge no real / original pressings were even sealed though.

New video :)

I don't even know why I picked Presto up in the first place. It's got a few great tracks on it but suffers from some awful production and is one of the weakest full albums in my book. My guess is I picked it up some year when my local shop did their annual 40% off sale, in which case my profit on it was something like 800%

The other Rush album I have that goes for big bucks is Clockwork Angels, but I don't think I can bring myself to part with that one. Maybe Snakes & Arrows though, that's another $100+ record.

Chain Lightning rules!

You'll enjoy Nico. How the song Soup didn't end up on the album Soup I don't know.

I just won an auction for Empire of the Sun's Ice on the Dune. Great album and as the years passed, I regretted not picking it up on it's release as the price has continued to rise. Manged to pick it up for £45, so I'm really happy with that!

I haven't really got my eye on anything. I've got the Chili's record pre-ordered, but I've been listening to a lot of Faye Webster on Spotify, so I'll inevitably pick up an album of hers.

VOLA finally released a live album, recorded during the pandemic as a livestream.

I'm listening to it now and it's awesome. Adam Janzi is one of the best modern drummers around, the guy is just an absolute beast. This makes me want to see them live even more than I already did, but they've never toured outside Europe...

What does "screen printed jacket" mean? The new Jack White record, Vault member variant, has this and curious how it is different. Is it different paper or ink? I can't say I'm looking forward to this record (even though I'm a big fan and seeing JW thus summer) but the album art looks 👌

Lunch hour. Just finished Rod Stewart's Unplugged and Seated and opened a can of Madison West Coast IPA and threw a bit of David Gates & Bread on the Turntable. Enjoyable.

Pre-ordered the George Michael Older Boxset, however, I keep thinking of cancelling and just grabbing the vinyl instead. I've 3 month to reach a conclusion, so will see what the craic is!

There are so many variations of the latest Chili's album - there's got to be fans out there that has went for every single one. I suppose it's a good idea to try and get the numbers up for sales of the record too for some bands with devoted followings.

I finally picked up INXS's Live Baby Live - Wembley Stadium. It was becoming a bit hard to find at a decent price but stumbled across a listing on eBay for close to retail price I believe - not something I'd have been aware of without IGP, so thanks Russ!

I've thrown on Tears For Fears' The Tipping Point on the turntable and have RHCP's Unlimited Love to follow it. Both records sound absolutely tremendous on vinyl and for RHCP, it provides a vastly different listening experience than what you'd get digitally. Tremendously pressed.

Glad you got that INXS record! Regarding the Chili Peppers variants, I used to get a little mad when Taylor Swift and others did all the variants becuase I thought it was going to do more harm than good to vinyl sales. From eveything I've seen, I was totally wrong so that's good.

That Tears For Fears album is so, so good. I have yet to hear the RHCP album but I've heard great things. I did get to listen to the new Jack White album last night and I like it far more than his last album.

If you can, I'd hang fire to listening to the Chili's album until you have a physical copy. I downloaded the album when it leaked and it really is night and day in comparison when listening to it on vinyl. Quality is another thing entirely, as it may not be for you, but it sounds fantastic!

Yeah, I really can't get enough of the TFF album. Staggeringly brilliant and way beyond what I would have expected them to come up with having not done anything for 17/18 years or whatever it was. Brilliant album. Hoping to catch them in July when they play my neck of the woods. I'll check out Jack White's new effort, not an artist I've ever really listened to. I can only name one White Stripes song off the top of my head, so anything you wish to recommend, I'll be sure to check out!

Been a while since I posted in this thread. Bit of a back-dates update due:

- Finally finished my collection of Super Deluxe Led Zep box sets. Had to order Physical Graffiti from a site I’d never used before and it turned up a little bent at the edge but was the last copy. Ah well.

- Neal Morse Band - The Great Experiment

- Tool - Fear Inoculum recent boxset

- Nick Johnston - Young Language

- Charlie Parker with Strings

- A couple of Art Blakey Bluenote cuts

- Flying Colors - their first 2 albums

I’m sure there is more I’ve missed!

My copy of Queen On Air arrived today and it is already on the turntable! I played the bootleg cassettes and CD's I've had of these sessions to death over the years, so I'm happy to have the official release on vinyl, finally! The News of The World sessions are absolutely stellar and showcase the band in incredible form. Have a great weekend folks!

I forgot to add, RSD - I wasn't physically there, but have ordered Elton John's Complete Thom Bell Sessions. What did you guys pick up?
