Die Antwoord and ZEF

I have not been able to stop listening to this group. At times I listen to their music and it just sounds horrible to me, but at other times it is so addictive that I listen to nothing but them all day.

And their style, ZEF, looks so idiotic, but part of me digs it.

What is your opinion on them?

South African groups like this is like a mix between the Netherlands and Romania, lol

They are cool as fuck and the videos are extremely hilarious and astonishing

I really like this band. The way they talk is mesmerizing! It's not the kind of music I would normally listen to but it has something that makes me like it. The videos are great too.

Hell yeah!! I fokken love Die Antwoord. Their energy is amazing and their style is unique. A friend of mine got me into them. I thought they were creepy at first but I soon got ADDICTED. I fink u freeeeeky

Ugh, I don't like them, or ZEF in general.

There are elemets of that rave-dance, fidget, 8-bit kinda shit in their music that I dig, but there are other artists that do that too without pissing me off while I listen to them.

EDIT: I at least have to admit that I Fink U Freeky is a guilty pleasure.

Die Antwoord are cool - they have been a round for a long time in one form or another. You should check out Max Normal, who is one of the main male singer's alter-egos (he has a bunch).

Also, if you like this kind of music in general, then maybe take a listen to Jack Parow.

I really enjoy his rapping in Enter the Ninja. I'll check out his other stuff.

Oooh I totally agree! I haven't listened to Jack Parow but I do like "Cooler as Ekke". As for Max Normal...that is a definite "YES" from me. Max Normal and a later incarnation, MaxNormal.TV, are both excellent. MaxNormal.Tv's album "Good Morning South Africa" is catchy as hell. There's a lot of cool and interesting music coming out of South Africa these days.
