ManetsBR
On the verses he sounds like Axl. Is there any other song where Ron sings like that?Great tune, by the way.
izzygirl
Yeah, he really sounds like Axl in some parts, which makes me wonder, do we really need Axl in the band? (The song is not bad either)
volcano62
Even if Ron can sing better he doesn't have the legendary status Axl's has.If Ron or Axl walk in a room there is a huge difference of aura and mystique that surrounds them. ManetsBR
Ron even wrote a song about Axl. jk... But I always think of Axl when I hear this song.

ManetsBR
You people that say he sounds like Axl need to get your ears checked. I do like the song though.Sometimes I'm feeling like, there's something in the airThat kicks us up into a fight - why do we go thereIs it biology or fucked up chemistryThe whole world seems to be caught in its own miseryOr is it that I only see reflections of meAnd that I think there's nothing beyond my line of trees00:07-00:36I fly under the radar, just skimming the lineBetween never and forever, between earth and skyBut when I think about it, it washes over meAnd pulls me to the dividing line - that's where I sinkDown to the ocean floor, still sad from the last tourWhen there were devils amongst - still I go back for moreMaybe it's time to just let it go , yeah I know...2:12-2:

dalsh327
So I guess Slash and Duff can stop trying to look for a new VR singer and give Bumble a call. He'd just do what Myles did, put down the guitar for a while and just sing. Edited September 6, 2013 by dalsh327

Decent track also.
Estranged Reality
Ron just has a kind of generic "ayeee" twang to his voice in this song that was a big staple of the '90s. Axl had a little bit of it, too. I wouldn't say he sounds like Axl, I think he's just wearing his influences on his sleeve so to speak.Reminds me of the scene in Ted where he sings karaoke. "This is how everyone sounded in the '90s!"
Tom2112
One of my favourite Bumble songs! Normal and Abnormal are both pretty cool, Normal has one or two moments that were definitely a product of what was popular at the time "colour of justice" definite system Influence... that's actually the only song on the album that I don't like. on Abnormal I listen to everything but "glad to be here" I just really hate that song I'm so glad they didn't play it when I saw them in 2012.I think there's a definite nod to Axl on "simple days" beyond the fact that he said he initially wrote the song for GnR before deciding to keep it for his own album. I think they should use him more, having a singer like that in the band should be exploited, think of the cool stuff they could do vocally and Ron could definitely take lead on a song for the new album. Do I want him to replace Axl? No! lets not get carried away here, Axl is still king shit! there's more to being a great performer than vocal ability (although it is a large part of it), you have to be a great entertainer and have the ability to hold a crowd in the palm of your hand... Axl can all of the above when he pleases.
trqster
Axl would still destroy BBF on a studio...no doubt about that. Anyways it's a cool song.
themadcaplaughs
Cool songs, but I can definitely understand if Axl wanted Ron to have nothing to do with GN'R songwriting.
Allen8R
That hardly bares even the slightest resemblance to Axl. It does remotely sound like Adam Sandler mimicking Axl though.
