Tater Totts
So the trailer came out today, looks shite. Cannot believe they are wasting such a good cast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INmtQXUXez8
downzy
Tough to judge from the trailer. I'll reserve judgement until the movie is released.

Tater Totts
On one hand I am glad it is not a straight remake and they're actually doing something new with it, on the other hand what they are doing looks horrible. Looks more like he is Iron Man that Robocop.
Randy Lahey
This looks like a joke.
AndreCC
This is an insult to the original one, just like the new Total Recall is an insult to Arnold's original movie Edited September 6, 2013 by AndreCC
moreblack
If they're gonna make remakes, they should at least wait until the generation that saw the original one dies off.
Angelica
Er...actually pleasantly suprised. Of course it won't be as dark or witty as the original, but at any rate it looks a shit ton better than the Total Recall remake.

appetite4illusions
Who the hell is the villain supposed to be in this? I know they can't compete with Clarence Boddicker, but no bad guy at all?I actually like Robocop 2 and 3, but it doesn't even look like my Gary Oldman man-crush can save this turkey. It reminds me of the Robocop TV show.

Dazey
I actually think it looks good. The original is probably one of the best movies ever so this is never gonna compare but it looks okay at least.

There are a lot of these new remakes I could say this about. Edited September 7, 2013 by J Dog
Guest Len B'stard
I LOVE the first Robocop, it's just perfect, the mental fuckin' bad guys Clarence and the bald-headed ginger and the black guy with the high pitched voice, that 6,000 SUX motor, Ronnie Cox is brilliant in it too, i remember that scene when he's in the loo and he's givin' it (not like that ) to that other bad guy who creates Robocop in the toilets and he like..runs his fingers through his hair and then yanks it from the back going "you just...FUCKED with the wrong guy!" I remember watching that just at the bit where he runs his fingers through his hair going 'ohmigod, he's gonna bum him!' Anyone else think that guy looks exactly like David Platt? Miguel Ferrer i think his name is, he was a mate of Keith Moons. Some brilliant lines in that film though, it's just hilairious. The bad guys make that film though. 'YOUR COMPANY BUILT THE FUCKIN' THING, DICK!!!' and then afterwards when he's appeased him he's like "well i guess we're friends again then...Richard" My favorite bit is where they're all in that abandoned building and they first fuck up Peter Wellers character.'See i got this problem, cops don't like me...so i don't like cops'Shit, i haven't seen that film since i was a baby, i must get hold of it sometime. Oh yeah and ED 209, looking like one of the monsters out of fuckin' Sinbad Edited September 7, 2013 by sugaraylen

Iron MikeyJ
Does it take place in Detroit? If not I will be pissed, the city in the clip sure doesn't look like Detroit. Honestly Detroit needs robocop. I know they were even considering making a Robocop statue in Detroit at one time, some people got pissed about it, so I think they scrapped that idea.I just looked it up and the statue is happening, going to be unveiled later this year. I know some locals were pissed because "real" people deserve a statue more than fictional ones. Is thier a terminator statue in LA somewhere? I think terminator desereves one before robocop. Just my opinion. Edited September 9, 2013 by Mike420

wasted
First one was a satire so i doubt theyll do that again. It will prob like really serious mapping out characters for a trilogy.
