Cosmo
AC/DC - Black IceHow is that a comeback album?Well, an 8-year gap with no tours in between. Not a comeback? No, not really.I strongfully disagree. AC/DC's future was uncertain, they were completeky out of the spotlight, dudes were old, they never had an album gap that long, and technically it's a longer time span than lots of "comebacks". It's a comeback. They came back at their top since the 80's, MUCH stronger than in the 90's and with the top grossing tour ever up ti that point. Powerage5
AC/DC - Black IceHow is that a comeback album?Well, an 8-year gap with no tours in between. Not a comeback? No, not really.Agreed. That's just how AC/DC has worked for the last 25 years - go all out for a coupe years, take 3-4 years off.Besides, it was only a 5 year gap between tours; they toured in 2003 to celebrate their RNRHOF induction. Powerage5
Slash & Guests - Slash*hidesGreat album though, great comeback.Wouldn't consider it a comeback album - it's a solo album. Oh, and I can't believe I forgot Worship Music. It's only one of my favorite metal albums of all time.
username
Dylan's Time Out of Mind Springsteen's The Rising Maiden's Brave New World I can't get over how good they are! At least as good as any of their golden era albums. Aerosmith's Permanent Vacation - I'm not sure if counts as late careerAgreed with all of these. And I feel the need to list Leonard Cohen as well. Old Ideas, while very good, might not be as good as Songs Of Love And Hate or I'm Your Man. But the shows that man started putting up, out of nowhere, in the late autumn of his career are some of the greatest he's ever done. Live In London is one of the best live albums ever recorded and the two times I saw him on the Old Ideas tour were nothing short of stellar. username
All of them? Never took you for a Maiden fan.I'm not. I do appreciate them, but I've never been a huge fan. I know most of their work though and I clearly remember Brave New World when it came out. Absolutely kicked ass and re-launched Maiden. eye2eye
Death MagneticTrue. How so ? That record was awful not only production was one of the worst, songs were like Metallica "covers" this riff from Master of Puppets here, that vocals from Black Album.
