He'd never admit it, but yeah obviously he would. He'd either make new GNR less of a joke or he'd realize he was an idiot for destroying one of the best hard rock bands of all time.

I think Axl doesn't want a reunion cause he sees the old era so epic so why not just leave it there? There are ofcourse personal issues between him and Slash which we don't know about..It is what it is, like Slash has said in many interviews..

I think he has always done exactly what he wanted so there's really no reason why he wouldn't do everything all over again and exactly as they were done first time around. He may regret the way things turned out, but I doubt he regrets the decisions he made at every juncture in his life. (Except perhaps with the way things turned out with Erin).

That's it right there. He might look back and think about things, but at the actual time when they were going on, he made his bed and laid in it, which I think he's fine with. I actually think he might have more regrets about what happened with the Robin/Brain/Bucket line up and that 02 tour, which pretty much killed CD.
