The production is incredibly tight and airless but thats the sound these days.

After going through the album many times, its basically 10 epic songs.

Problem is, Death Magnetic reached a new standard in horrendous mastering History. It's virtually unlistenable. One song with headphones, your brain explodes.

Look at that excuse for a mastering. THat's not music, that's basically noise.Picture3.png

It's completely pummeling, at first I thought it was too much. But now I kind of addicted to the mind rattling it gives you. However I don;t listen to all the way through very often. I think Megadave gets it about right for most records. Metallica are little bit more experimental.
