Trick or Treat: update on the NEW ParadiseCity.com‏

Have you seen the new ParadiseCity.com?

We know a few of you were feeling a bit 'Estranged" so our friends at Backplane took note and made things a little more "Welcoming".

Before you get caught up playing with the new site or delete this note, file this email or bookmark this web-version for future reference. Here are some highlights of what you'll see the next time you login to Paradise City.

So here's what's up!

It's now easier to view and post content on the site. The new interface displays a high-definition banner across the top that slides into the navigation bar as you scroll through posts.

The post cards now display more content; plus you can easily comment on or like posts within the feed. You will also see the feeds adjusts for what's Hot, what's New, or what's Personal to you (per your interests & follows). The post composer and view have also been updated.

PRO TIP: Follow the #Tags and Gunners you like before you use the PERSONAL feed to see what you like OR better avoid what you don't want to see.

The hub of your interactions and profile settings are now located in a panel on the left side of the site. Launch the message viewer or open a dropdown list of all your notifications at anytime from here.

Make edits to your profile information quickly and easily from the settings tab. This is also where the LOGOUT button now resides.

Everything you need is just a click away!

With thousands of Gunners posting hundreds of pieces each day it's so easy to lose track of posts. One cool way to help is if we #Tag our entries. This way people can use Explore to find posts along with all the other Tags, Events, and Members.

Or click on the magnifying glass on the top menu bar to Search the site.

You (some at least of you) asked for it! You (all of you) got it! Now you can customize your profile with your own personal cover photo.

You can change your cover photo through the settings tab or by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your cover photo. Don't worry about your photo being too big or too small, we'll let you preview what your cover will look like.

Th-th-th-...

Well that's not quite all. There's a tutorial when you log in if you have the patience for those things. But seriously, see something you don't get, something you love -> drop the folks at backplane an email on info@thebackplane.comand let 'em know.

P.s. We have some moderator capabilities now and are looking to deputize some Gunners to give the fans more control in Paradise City. Let us know if you have an interest or someone you would like to nominate by email atinfo@paradisecity.com

P.s.s. We're also looking to concierge some group functionality. If you admin a page, blog, or fan-site and want to help us build a presence for your crew hit us with your info at info@paradisecity.com

And if you Twitter adn/or Facebook, follow us on @ParadiseCity and/or Like our Fan Page

Why are they describing it like it's on a tray under a blanket? Is this text missing screen shots?

Putting What's New tags on an official gnr website is like kicking a long-suffering gnr fan in the nuts.
