Guest Len B'stard
Adore all of the above mentioned and many besides...except Sean Paul. REALLY REALLY love Capleton and Bounty Killer. How do you feel about the ever-present homophobia and gay bashing throughout Dancehall Snakes? Guest Len B'stard
To me Ska is old black men in the 60s in Jamaica tryna do RnB but doing it on the offbeat and accidentally creating reggae or rather the reggae skank. In fact, not to me, thats what it fuckin' is No Doubt are just popstars who just like, used elements of Ska music, in the same way a hip hop song might have elements of funk or The Police might sound they reggae...but they ain't. Ska is this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTp1Axm_3mUTurn that up loud and listen to it
