Why does Axl have fewer stage outfits nowadays than he did back in the old days?

Siiiiince there's nothing to talk about in GnR land, I have an honest question. Have you noticed this too? Why does Axl have fewer stage outfits nowadays than he did back in the old days? He seems to recycle the same outfits quite a bit in recent years. Why do you suppose that is?

Those 2010 jackets were seriously bad-ass. On anyone else they would look hideous, but fuck it, Axl pulled it off:

The hoodie/leather-jacket combo monstrosity thing from Bridge School and the Hilfiger shows is just awful, though.

Doesn't he get get abuse for to many costume changes?

Anyway he changes his t shirts constantly throughout the shows. Even down to a specific song. Not sure why certain songs require certain shirts. I remember from 2012 he'd put on the bunny shirt for don't cry regardless where the song ended up in the setlist.

Yeah the whole wardrobe was different at london with the red hat and circular specs and long jackets etc.. I presume it was for the dvd?

I wonder who shops for him because there is just some random fashion he is wearing from biker jackets to all saints shirts.

He wore Pussy Time at London, pretty sure it was all the 2012 shows, definitely remember seeing it for the first time at Atlantic City in Feb '12:

Should just hire Black Sabbath to buy his wardrobe to make Sabbath's life easier ;)

Little known info that he actually tours with ALOT of his 91-93 clothing. We have seen recently from the Tokyo dvd his Nightrain jacket recycled live.

As for the other clothing, I am unsure why he still lugs it around with him.

As long as I get one of everything I want then sure

BTW, I did find where you can buy that Pussy Time shirt, but I don't want to spend $100+ on it  (right now...)

I like his outfits nowadays (though I wish he would just wear the shirts without the big ass leather jackets, regardless of them being cool or not). His shirts are always interesting to me.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who hates the hoodie jacket.

He still has a ton of clothes changes in the jackets alone.

-Intro jacket with studs along the shoulder blades.

-Jacket with the gold studs along the cuffs and shoulders.

-Jacket with studs underneath the arms to the bottom.

-Jacket with the patches on the arms and the skull on the back.

-Black trench coat.

-Red trench coat (although I don't think hes worn it in a while)

-Black striped trench coat.

-DSquared leather / denim jacket / hoodie.

-DSquared black / green jacket

-Gold velvet blazer

-Paradise City jacket with the studded sleeves.

Not to mention all the hats and ELEON shirts.

The leather jackets seem too same same whereas the blazers from 2010 all had something that distinguished them from each other. Even the shiny blue and silver blazer shown above looked great, even though I thought it was pretty tacky at first.

I can't be the only one that wishes that someone would just give DJ a nice bitchslap to the back of the head in an effort to knock the dunce off of his face, can I?

it's much easier to change out of spandex shorts than it is to change out of jeans, shirts, jackets, hates, tons of gawdy jewelry. Axl's choic eof stage attire was always a bit odd but these days he looks like a geriatric rockstar. sadly I think he wears so much clothes to cover up his insecurities. How else do you explain the stupid looking hats.
