This was from before CD's release. Her boyfriend had worked on the album in some minor capacity and was invited to Axl's infamous Halloween party. She said it was a blast and that he played some of the as yet unreleased songs for people. Then unexpectedly, Axl announced he'd chartered a bus to drive everyone to universal horror nights (a Halloween theme park in LA) and was paying for everybody to get in.

Pretty cool story. Axl must be really fun to party and have fun with. Not in a sense that he pays everything, but in a sense that he actually seems like a cool dude.

I wouldn't expect him to shell out money if he had a contract with Universal and knows the people who run the company, they prob. kept the park open just for him after midnight.

Funny, I found that part a little odd as well. From the standpoint of a party goer bragging about it.

Axls halloween parties were not strictly employees of universal. We know this from jimmy kimmel. Article says someone who had worked on the CD was at axls party and played a few songs in a long evening.

however there is no source so it could be made up. Either way it doesn't really tell us much.

Also axl would definetly got his party in free. I've seen a soap star in front of me in the que to a theme park and she was greeted and escorted round by some boss and her family got in free. So just think what free stuff Axl could get.

In my experience, studio guys and musicians are always wanting to play the material in progress, combo of interest, pride and feedback I guess. They just don't want to hear it much after its finished.

yeah I was about to say, I remember finding a story on the web from like years and years ago where some regular dude (dont remember how he got invited ) went to a Axl halloween party at his house and was like able to bring his wife and kids or something and had a blast. Also I think this guy posted like lots of pictures of him in the yard or something. Seemed pretty cool.

I remember a fan being invited to a party at his house. She even took some photos there.

Once a year he would invite friends and their families over for a special Halloween costume party. Decorating the swimming pool with pumpkin-lanterns and dangling fake spiders' webs from the overhanging palms, he would also have special mazes erected. Guests at these parties would later describe him as being almost as excited as all the children present, as he dashed around enjoying himself. Dave Quakenbush, vocalist with LA punk band The Vandals and a guest at the 1999 Halloween party, recalls Axl “wearing a dinosaur outfit. I was just curious as to why it was considered infamous.

Tons of people have Halloween parties. The Tree idea is cool. One of my friends does the easter bunny thing for all the kids at their party. They hide candy all over the house and yard area and the kids go try and find it all.

Some people tend to over-dramatize things just because Axl is involved.

This is a totally believable story. I have no reason to doubt you. I will take your word for it and believe every Guns N' Roses story you have because everything on the internet is true.

It wasn´t just bullshit story. It was true. I knew who she was. A woman, a fan who had a site dedicated to Axl. All she said was that Axl played Madagascar. But the former and now gone official forum went nusty on her. She went with 2 of her children. They only stayed one day.

Yes, that was her. She run a kennel. And in her site she has plenty of pictures of dogs and wolves besides tons of pictures of Axl. Axl really lover her website. He even posted in her forum from time to time.

But she has 3 children, hubby, parents. So she couldn´t keep runningher site. Besides at that time fans went nasty on her in the old and gone official forum
