classicguns4life
He's good, but in doses. The whole shtick gets old after awhile, the whole man-boy thing. He kind of peaked in 2003. By this point now, its really old and its not as funny watching the movies anymore. School Of Rock was great, although its lost some of its luster after seeing how kind of crazy he got with the whole rock stuff. Its funny, but in the way that he knows he's bad and its an admirable attempt. Nothing more. He's had some other good movies. As stupid as Shallow Hal is, that was a pretty good concept and he's pretty funny in it. He was great in Tropic Thunder, which was one of his funniest in awhile. And he was excellent in Bernie, but that was in terms of really acting. Not enough people saw that one. Those are about all the funny ones I like. Most of the others are kind of insufferable as he's just always doing the exact same comedy.
Guest Len B'stard
He's an annoying fat cunt and he's not funny. The last line of the post above me sums it up but i'd also like to add to that that it was never funny in the first place. Snake-Pit
Am I the only one who's seen Jack Black and Ben Stiller talk about feces for two hours in Envy (2004)? Edited November 15, 2013 by Snake-Pit

Nosaj Thing
School of Rock is the only movie I can think of right now. Kung Fu Panda counts?
Georgy Zhukov
He was so good in King Kong.A lot of people couldn't take him seriously. They keep calling it a dramatic role but he was playing a madman.
izzygirl
He made a really good job in King Kong and I love School of Rock. But if Kung Fu Panda counts, then his best film is Kung Fu Panda.
Graeme
I didn't like rock music before watching School of Rock. Jack Black changed my teenage life.
