Lithium
It's like they tried to make a shitty version of Drive.
Randy Lahey
Refn is a good director, but a terrible screenwriter. Only God Forgives was written by Refn and Drive was written by somebody else. Edited November 16, 2013 by Randy Lahey
wasted
It's a bit too Lynchian red curtain all the time. There's no comic relief, it's more ultra violent relief. It's like that scene from Bill Pullman's house in Lost highway for 2 hours. I went to someones house other day and they had small collection of dvds, comedies and a couple action movies and Only god Forgives, still in the wrapper. Boy are they not going to like it. It's got the deep title, Drive director and Gosling so people must think can't be too bad.I don't think it's that bad but it seems like a waste of celluloid to make something so boring to watch. suspense……………is killing me. But it's not easily forgotten. Really it should have been his first movie then done Drive, then retired.

Ace Nova
.... Lost highway for 2 hours....That's exactly what it reminded me of....except it did explain itself....Almost seemed like a 2 hour dream sequence.
FuddMckagan
The slowest movie I've ever seen.
