Coma

It would be cool, but look at the tweet logically. Its a suggestion from someone literally on the day of the event. They'd have to have been practicing this for a bit, which would mean incredibly someone was able to guess they'd do this (which seems unlikely). Maybe they'll do it sometime down the line (although I doubt that), but there's definitely no shot they'll be playing it anytime soon, meaning in the upcoming shows.

lol @ shadowofthewave great post guy, great post

Although Corey's voice IS bland as FUCK

Corey Taylor represents everything that's wrong with mainstream rock today

Unless he has some other merits besides what I've heard with Slipknot and Stone Sour

Haven't you heard the horror stories about performing Coma live? It's apparently the most complex arrangement of any GNR song and has so many chords that Izzy had to tape a piece of cardboard to the stage so he could play it properly.

I haven't, and I didn't know that so thanks for the story. I was thinking it was really complex to sing it especially at the end, not so much the guitar parts. I guess the only thing I could say back was because Slash wrote it I'm sure he could practice and play it fine. I was thinking more about Slash playing it then about what the other guitarist would be dealing with.

Edit:

I exaggerated in my original post as Amish pointed out to make a point to volcano.

Cano, Slash wrote the song and Imo it's a underrated gem on UYI. In short, give the guy a little credit that he can play the song he wrote. Slash wrote some cool parts on the music we are both fans of. You may not like him or his fans but its a disservice to yourself to not acknowledge he was a great lead guitarist when he was in the band

Coma is not a hard song to play on guitar. To say Slash can't play it is asinine. He wrote it and an extremely average guitarist could easily play it. It was one of the first songs I learned on guitar. There are not 100 different chords. There are 28 chords used total in the song and most of them come from the main riff.

Bulldog is correct, there are many chords but there is a logical and standard musical scale running along the backbone of the riff that holds it all together.

izzy did have trouble with it, only because he had almost fully unplugged from GNR at that stage and never rehearsed it with the band fully before going on tour.

As usual Volcano keeps smashing the hate and wild sweeping assumption buttons, nothing new there of course. Carry on.

Don't try to speak reasonably to unreasonable people. It doesn't work around here.

Ban Miser pls.
