ITG
I think it would be closure. Much like The Simpsons could have been if they were left in its pristine state. What else is there to look forward to?-Reunion?-CD Leaks?-Return of Axl's voice?-Unreleased UYI/AFD material?-New songs worth listening to?-More touring?None of that is going to happen. I think a movie would do justice. I think Steven Adler should play himself. Edited December 1, 2013 by InThisGrave
saber_
My favorite scene would be when Slash shows up drunk to Axl's house in the middle of the night and gets DENIED.
ITG
The shakedown for the GN'R name would become infamous. Oscar worthy.

username
Is an unauthorized GN'R Movie the best thing to look forward to?Guns n' Roses fans; Drastically lowering standards since 1993. Edited December 1, 2013 by username
wfuckinga
Yeah, seeing Slash and Duff "under duress" would be hilarious. It'd be even funnier since the contract wasn't signed backstage like those two say it was, it was signed on a break, on two different days. RussTCB
With all the legal battles surrounding GN'R, I don't think there will ever be a movie, unauthorized or not.

RussTCB
If Mötley Crüe can make a movie, Axl Rose can make a movieHuh? Crue doesn't have nearly the same legal wranglings surrounding it that GN'R does.
appetite4illusions
I can already picture the scene when the band is convinced that Steve has been abducted by drug dealers. Duff charges into an older Vietnamese family's home and frantically waves a sawed off shotgun in their faces, rummaging through their cabinets, looking for the percussionist. Something like that is a writer's wet dream because it actually happened.

It sounds compelling enough I guess.

Wonder what they imagined they were signing. This movie has the makings of being one of the greatest comedies of all time. Right up to present day.
Apollo
My favorite scene would be when Slash shows up drunk to Axl's house in the middle of the night and gets DENIED. Why would that be your favorite scene? That night is a sad reflection on Axl and what GnR has become. As somebody who - for some weird reason - hates Slash, why would your favorite scene be a moment that makes Slash look great and makes Axl and Beta look like complete losers?Slash went to Axl's house to talk man-to-man with him and to try and clear up their grudge. Didn't text, didn't email, didn't do it through their managers.....but went to do it face-to-face. But instead of manning up, Axl hid like a complete little bitch and let his surrogate mother shoosh Slash away. This is one of the most embarrassing moments of Axl and Beta's career together. I'm surprised somebody like you would want to watch it.
ITG
I'd actually be interested in Axl's version of events. Now that would be hilarious.
wfuckinga
I'd like to see Slash's book made into a movie I would love to see a re enactment of his version of the events, especially the St. Louis 91 gig Fuck talk about a good comedy, that's be right up there with Animal House and Stripes
ARBeast
Yeah, seeing Slash and Duff "under duress" would be hilarious. You're assuming that they would even take Axl's opinion. The movie would most likely feature a scene with Axl holding a gun to Slash and Duff's head.Paul Giamatti would make a great Alan Niven...I'd like to see Slash's book made into a movie I would love to see a re enactment of his version of the events, especially the St. Louis 91 gig Fuck talk about a good comedy, that's be right up there with Animal House and StripesWell, for some reason, it seems Slash's opinion is the one used more. And the one people side with.
