J Dog
Cool. I would have given to Gangs over the others.
Sixes
Cool. I would have given to Gangs over the others.that's a pretty weak list of best pic nominees although I do love Chicago but it has no place being in the running for best picture of any yearI would pick The Pianist of those five but that's not saying muchand on a side note, back to Scorsese, Gangs Of New York and every movie since has been incredibly overrated, including The Departed. I would say Gangs of NY-The Wolf of Wall Street is his worst period of films, by far. It's really not even close.

I don't even think Gangs is a great movie, but when looking at what won and what was nominated. Like I said I've never seen The Pianist so I don't know, it could be a better movie than Gangs. It's really not even close.I agree with that wholeheartedly, especially in regard to Gangs and The Departed (which is at times painfully bad). I will step up to defend Hugo, which is glorious and his delightful Fran Lebowitz documentary Public Speaking. As great as this continuing collaboration has been for DiCaprio, it's clearly draining the juice out of Scorsese. I hope Wolf of Wall Street is great, but it would be pretty surprising.I've never had a problem with Chicago winning BP. It virtually never goes to most deserving, at least the movie is legitimately wonderful. Seriously, The Artist, The King's Speech, Crash, Argo...Chicago is not an offensive winner, not by a long shot Edited December 22, 2013 by Angelica
The Sandman
Well, Di Caprio certainly thinks he should've...!
Guest NGOG
Cool. I would have given to Gangs over the others.Excuse my French but, are you fucking kidding? Two Towers and The Pianist were infinitely more deserving than one of Scorsese's weakest ever pieces.
Mysteron
Life Of Pi should have won last year, hands downAn impossible story turned into a movie, unknown actors/actresses and it was amazing in 3D and 2DLes Mis should have been runner up.
