Iron MikeyJ
Yep, good ole Flint. I live less than an hour from there, close to Saginaw which is another real doozy. Detroit, Flint, Inkster, and Saginaw made it in the top 10 list of most dangerous cities in the U.S. So, this one state has 4 out of the top 10... Go Michigan!!! Ya isn't it great???? lol. It is what it is....But I would actually be in favor of a League of Shadows type reconstruction type effort. It would probably be fun!!! Yay genocide!!!!!!!! lol, jkI have actually been to Wilkes barre PA. It didn't seem that bad to me. But I was just driving through, stayed there for one night. The downtown seemed ok, plus the city is like built on the side of a mountain if my memory serves. sweetness
and yet some Michigan residents and workers still cling to their beloved auto companies and unions, even after they raped and abondoned the cities and workforces that made them what they are. PappyTron
I find it funny when people in places such as Manchester, England think that their areas are "well tough and dangerous" compared to America and that they all know "bad boys". I then think of places such as Flint and New Haven (especially a couple of years ago when it was 3rd on the FBI's list) and laugh a hearty kind of laugh that has a hint of derision and maybe a touch of flatus too. Yeah, but the difference being that lots of people who bang on about how tough Manchester is seem to honestly believe that it is more dangerous than Flint despite it being, according to the numbers, literally ten times safer! Also, I believe that you are more likely to be murdered in Flint than in Rio!
Guest Len B'stard
Looks like the north of England. Ghastly. Yes, thats expression accurately encapsulates the corrrect response to the sounds, the sight and indeed the stench of Gods (forsaken) country
spunko12345
Ive never really felt that I was in any more danger than I did when I was in Coventry roughly ten years ago. And that was only because my mate knocked a turban of this bouncers head and I was 3 seconds away from getting punched in the neck several times by a very angry Sikh. The Sherman Hills section is completely crime ridden, and you're not safe walking through the square at night.

Quite frankly, i don't think anywhere is as dangerous as the hype. There's just a protocol to being in these types of areas that anyone with any suss can figure out pretty soon after landing. Keep your eyes open, your mouth shut, you'll be fine most places as long as you don't look like a Pooooooooo-nani nani, Punani-nani And i mean like, you see films and videos of these places, they're just men really aren't they? Just like men in any other town, big ones, small ones, tall ones, skinny ones, there's no one to be afraid of in this life, I can stop breathing just like you, him over the road, Mike Tyson, Purple Aki and Mr T can I agree with you though and i was saying something similar to Snakes in a thread a while back, makes me laugh when people go 'oh don't go down Hackney at night man, it's proper dodgy and it's like, do me a favour. DieselDaisy
I do not know why people are making jokes about the north of england. They seem to think it is all grotty industrial cities. They do not know the slightest thing about the area. Well, the north includes country villages and historic towns and cities like Morpeth, Berwick, Alnwick, York (even though you cannot get served). People who live in London crap holes like shepards bush dream to live in places like those, history on every corner, traditional pubs, old churches, local cricket teams, local arts and crafts shops. I mean there's plenty of belting pubs on the moors but it's a cunt trying to get there and back on the 263. They wanna try having a walk around Rawalpindi Pakistan at night How do you reckon I'd manage? Iron MikeyJ
For the record, I don't want to go to Baghdad, Egypt, Congo, places in SA or anywhere else that is known to be dangerous at night. I would say their are probably plenty of cities that are more dangerous than Flint once the sun goes down. I just know the dangers of my town, so I know where not to go. But if you do dare to explore some of these areas, the difference will probably be the boldness of Flint natives. You might want to keep to yourself, but some won't allow that to happen. And when you combine that fact with the amount of firearms owned, it makes for scary situations. But I am sure plenty of areas in Africa are FAR more dangerous.
