Val22
I don't understand what you are implying? but lately I've been a little slow on the uptake with stuff.Doris Day was my favorite actress back in the 1960's. She retired and became a big advocate for animals, which is what I love about her.As for GNR, well it goes without saying what a huge fan I am of this band. not a fan of the x factor. I hate all those reality singing/dancing or whatever shows. They annoy the hell out of me.

Guest Len B'stard
The Christmas one is an aincent and now pretty defunct tradition in England where it was some big thing, some big race to see who was gonna be top of the pops come Christmas. It mattered more back in the days when singles were a big thing and the tv show Top of the Pops and the hit parade (not a tv show, i mean the actual top 10) meant something to people. People try to actively campaign to get certain songs to Christmas no 1, to counteract the usual bullshit that would make it.
