Tater Totts
Terrible day for sporting legends today with Silva and Schumi's injuries.Hope he can make a recovery, apparently he seemed fine afterwards and walked away so he must have had a brain bleed
PappyTron
I heard that he tried to ram another skier off the piste but came off worse...

After reading the CNN article it stated that he "was" in a coma but is now in critical condition but the injures may not be as serious as previously thought. Looks like he had immediate brain surgery....Hopefully he recovers soon!
Axl_morris
conflicting articles. I'm reading he is in critical condition, and then I'm reading that he was wearing a helmet, didn't lose consciousness and not thought to have life threatening injuries.... So which is it? I'm reading he is in critical condition, and then I'm reading that he was wearing a helmet, didn't lose consciousness and not thought to have life threatening injuries.... So which is it?CNN and Fox News are reporting that he was wearing his helmet, hit his head on a rock. He arrived at the hospital in a coma and had immediate brain surgery by one of the top surgeons in Europe. He's currently in critical condition and recovering from the surgery. T.wa.T
Last time I went skiing/snowboarding, there was a bunch of little kids no older then 4, shooting down the hill with no poles and motorcycle helmets. Mean while there was a dozen or so adults sprawled out on the slope with twisted knees.Fuck those kids.and skiing.Schumacher is the man, get well.

Massa's Ferrari was nowhere near as good as Schumacher's in comparison.
izzygirl
I prefer his Mercedes era. That's really when he showed his great quality and talent. And thanks KK.
Dazey
I prefer his Mercedes era. That's really when he showed his great quality and talent. But even then the other cars were nowhere near as good as the Williams when Schumacher was winning at Bennetton.

It was a "perfect timing" scenario - Best car, best driver.I won't even go into the fact that Schumacher had a say in the actual development of the Ferraris during those years as well. The fact he was still winning when the Williams was by far the best car speaks far more of his talent than spanking it year on year in a very good Ferrari.
