Guest Len B'stard
I dont see the big deal anyway, for all the difference it makes, i could pick up a draw literally around the corner from where i'm sitting, as easy as if it was from a shop...i can walk down the street smoking it, it might as well be legal. You have to understand that the laws here in the U.S. vary greatly regarding the legality of ganja depending on the State laws. In some States it is tolerated with only a ticket small fine if caught with under an ounce while in others you can do jail time for possession of even a small amount. And as Dazey pointed out in Colorado you can now go into a shop and have a choice of many different types of Ganja. The quality is controlled and you know what you are getting.........can't comment on the cost as I have no idea what a gram or ounce of good quality costs these days........ Stay on topic mate...if your still butt hurt over the illegal downloading discussion go revive that thread and whine about me there.................Back on topic I have no idea what a fair price is for ganja but I am guessing it should become cheaper once it is legal and there is more competion amoungst growers.......... AxlisOld
We don't have stores in Washington yet, it is legal to possess right now but it's known as having "magical weed." You cant get it legally anywhere but it's still legal. The initiative is being implemented by our state liquor control board, and considering we just privatized the sale of alcohol about a year ago, Im amazed it's moving along as well as it is.I'd expect stores to be open around May, and prices are expected to be $9-12 per gram (current.medicinal prices), though since we're Washington.and.we suck, it will be taxed horribly. dalsh327
It doesn't matter if Colorado or Oregon legalize it, the end of federal level drug busts has to end. There's a lot of businesses and investors that want to be involved, but as long as the DEA can shut down dispensaries and burn down crops, they can't take that chance. I think it's going to come down to a subcommittee decision and having the president and Congress sign off on it. To me, this is about empowering county, city and state by getting the Feds out of it, and this is an ongoing issue in California. If they can have it legal to where dispensaries aren't raided anymore, then you'll see it becoming legal in other states. I think over time the cost of pot will go down, but one thing at a time. Dispensaries have to be around for a while, compete, and see who survives first. Isn't Colorado's big export Coors? AxlisOld
Cool story bro, if I distill my own whiskey I can sell it for less than a liquor store, if I make a batch of home brew I can sell it for cheaper than beer. It's like arnold said, it isn't about the price, it's about being the first place to pull their heads out of their ass.We don't have stores in Washington yet, it is legal to possess right now but it's known as having "magical weed." Gordon Comstock
I always thought a dispensary would be quite a bit more expensive? Just because of the variety, the info they can provide and all that shit, whenever I watch shows about dispensaries they always give extortionate prices for /8s... Possession of any kind of drug ins't a crime (unless you have more than a specific amount) but you can't plant, produce or buy from anyone anywhere. This is a law that clearly helps the drug dealers. So although i can get weed somewhat easily . I don't have a choice about the strain or whatever. And there aren't many potheads who go around selling medical mj
