liers
If it's CD session leftovers, my guess is hard rock/industrial.Here's what we know are out there for songs....Going DownSilkwormsOMGAtlasBeta's BarnDaddy Can The Devil Do Mommy and MeThymeSevenJackie ChanThe GeneralLeave Me Alone/Soul MonsterQuick SongIdes of MarchCuban SkiesOklahoma/BerlinZodiacMost of those sound like heavy songs. We know Silkworms, Daddy Can The Devil Do Mommy and Me, OMG, Soul Monster, Jackie Chan, and Beta's barn are heavy songs. I think it was Pitman who said Beta's Barn was like silkworms 2. Daddy Can The Devil Do Mommy and Me was written at the same time as OMG for the End Of Days movie. Soul Monster was written on Christmas and Axl said it is the heaviest most Black Sabbath thing he's written.Atlas is described as a long song that is somewhere between glam rock and november rain.If Bumble had his way, we would have more "Earthy" songs like Going Down... I doubt that will happen though since the current lineup supposedly has yet to write anything.I would be willing to bet atleast 10 of the songs I listed will be on the next album when it eventually comes out. Darkness Descends
Define 'leftovers'? If CDII comes in 2014-2024, it will contain leftovers. If they are planning to plan out new music, expect CD2 to come out in the next millennium.

Apollo
Not sure. None of us have heard any of the leftovers except for a 20 second clip of one song.In an ideal world, they'd release a double album like the Illusions. Full of the 15 best CD remaining songs and then 15 songs written by the current band. And those albums would be released before this band tours again. shannen
If you aren't aware of the interplay that exists on some level between releasing an album and fan reaction I'm not going to enlighten you. What does next release sound like? betterman
I think its safe to assume that even if most part of the follow up to CD contains tracks from the original CD sessions (beefed up by currrent players), it will contain a couple of DJ/Axl penned songs With hit/radio-potential.I think Bumble is a bit sad that he cant contribute, but i believe that DJ allready has contributed a Whole lot.. As in, it's nothing more then a guess that was made by you.Axl said it was going to be the same players that played on Chinese. That was the most recent comment he made about this subject. We don't know anything concrete about who's gonna be on the album beyond a comment that was made by Axl years ago.
