Chewbacca
Not really. So far,I've bought stuff from proguitarshop, tonefactor, jerry music, mad ape and right now I'm thinking about getting an 8 string Jackson in a great deal with gear4music. ZoSoRose
Im an Elderly man, just love going there. They are one of the most trusted and well- known guitar dealers (especially acoustic) in the country. Check em out, they ship everywhere. Although, I bought my Gibson SJ 100 from craigslist, cant beat prices there lol.Sounds cool though, I'll check the site out! HOOSIER GUNZ
I called Gibson earlier this morning about one the guitars I saw there on the website because I questioning the authenticity of a serial number and Bob at Gibson checked it out via pictures on the website, he seemed confident that it was the real deal...made me feel a little more confident before I pull the trigger and drop some dough...Sure would like to hear from anyone else who has actually been there or bought from there... Year, model, and most importantly, the serial number would be great. I am no expert but I love Gibson and would like to check it outAnd I just checked their site, it is a dated layout but that is likely because it is a little mom and pop shop. Looks legit though, they have some wonderful jems listed, especially with their Gibson acoustic selections. HOOSIER GUNZ
I've not bought anything from there yet. I've only scoped out a couple guitars with some serial numbers I was questioning as far as authenticity.I read on there website where a lot of rock royals like Robert Plant, Billy Gibbons and more have visited there. They got a photo of Plant in their shop playing a hollow body.I almost bought a white heritage h-140 there for $800 last year. Then they raised the price to $900 and then it was gone. My loss.I wonder if anyone from GnR has waltzed through the shop over the years? Edited January 6, 2014 by HOOSIER GUNZ
ZoSoRose
I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, then! They seem like a really neat place.Funny you should mention Heritage, though! They were founded in Kalamazoo, MI by left over Gibson employees after they left for Tennessee and Montana. I played a Heritage Les Paul copy a few weeks ago and I loved it. Great guitar! Great guitar! That is a little ironic..I own a goldtop... absolutely love it...to me its more the actual real deal than many other gibson lp's...surprised more rock n rollers have not discovered them yet...hope they dont cause the price might sky rocket...very special instruments...though i have read that models from 2003 to the present have lost an element of quality...i hope thats not true. Chewbacca
Well, I just checked 'em and I think they're cool. I also looked for some reviews and customers seem to be fairly satisfied with them.If you had the serial number checked, I think you won't be having a hassle with them afterwards.
