Ace Nova
Figured it would be interesting to see where many of the current members are from. I know some of the above are countries, others continents...and others general areas of the world...if you live in a continent or general area described, feel free to post exactly where from. Also, feel free to post the pros and cons of life from where you are from...along with customs, food, styles, languages spoken, etc.... Guest Len B'stard
Born: Luton and Dunstable, EnglandCurrently living: Watford, EnglandEngland ain't part of Europe, don't give a fuck what alliances are formed for the sake of mutual ball-stroking and political and/or economic expediency. I weren't born in no Europe, i don't nothing about it, it's nothing to do with me and it was not the definition of the area I've been born and bred in and i don't see why that should change just cuz a few men shook hands and became friends in the interests of making a few quid.Don't get me wrong, i'm all for the fuckin' free trade and getting along and immigration or whatever bollocks comes along with being part of the EU or whatever it is, i don't even really know to be honest but that don't mean that Chiswick is European all of a sudden. Euroscepticism is the body of criticism of the European Union, and opposition to the process of political European integration Of course! but really, I haven't yet cast a vote. Guest Len B'stard
Perhaps some time in the future, when the generation that was born before all this stuff have long been washed away and the younger kids don't give a fuck anymore, then maybe it'll be part of Europe to them but identities are more than just a label you affix where like, today you're English, tommorow you're European, it's an expierience, its the lifeblood of peoples. Dazey
Oh and to stay on topic I was born/raised in Saltburn/Redcar in the north east of England. I've spent the last four years living and working in a shithole called Kingston-upon-Hull and as of Friday I will be living in a hotel in Manchester.
