Guns N’ Roses Setlist at Coconut Teaszer, Hollywood, 14th Jan '88 - is this legit?

Hi Marc,

Read about when GNR toured as Drunk Fux in Reckless Road, but was surprised by some of the song choices on this setlist. Did they really cover Wishing Well and Born to be Wild? My dad played the former about a bajillion times on the tape deck in the car when I was growing up. I thought they stopped playing as Drunk Fux long before Appetite came out? Smells like bullshit, but I want to believe...

This is from HTGTH:

January 14th, 1988 - The Drunk Fux plays a show at the Coconut Teaszer in Hollywood, CA. Axl sings three songs with the band, one of them being "Yesterdays". He also mentions going into the studio the following week.

I'm guessing the other two would be KOHD and Honky Tonk Women?

Thanks, Lim. Shame Axl didn't sing on Wishing Well and Born to be Wild. One of my favourite bootlegs is the live performance they did of Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band":

Axl fucking kills it.

Is it true that they played this because they came on after Poison, who covered the song in their set?

Yes, and They took the roof off with it.
