Carne_asaDA
Anyone see this yet? It looks like another Coen Brothers classic.
Angelica
My best of the year. It's sublime, and has re-arranged my Coen Brothers top 5.
Georgy Zhukov
My best of the year. It's sublime, and has re-arranged my Coen Brothers top 5.What are your top five? Because I would put A Serious Man in mine.By the way, my wife wants to know if the cat is okay.
Angelica
Can't answer that without spoiling too much. A Serious Man has worked it's way up to my #1 over time and repeated viewings. 1.A Serious Man2. Inside Llewyn Davis3.Miller's Crossing4.Fargo5.Raising Arizona/The Hudsucker Proxy/The Big Lebowski (I know this is cheating, but I can't not include any of these) Edited January 12, 2014 by Angelica
Georgy Zhukov
You're like the only person I know who would hold such praise for Hudsucker Proxy.I still have to see this film as well as Miller's Crossing and Blood Simple.
Angelica
You're like the only person I know who would hold such praise for Hudsucker Proxy.I still have to see this film as well as Miller's Crossing and Blood Simple.Hudsucker is fucking brilliant, the script, the direction, every performance, the conceit (which proved too precious for a lot of critics, granted)...it's a gem. Some critics who love the original films and filmmakers they were riffing off were legitimately affronted by it because the Coen's trademark snarkiness is often mistaken for mocking. And they were 'due for a fall'.
Georgy Zhukov
I loved the use of Aram Khachaturian's music. I think it was their first film with Roger Deakins. This current film though has another brilliant DOP who like Deakins has never won an Oscar.

Sixes
Anyone with Hudsucker as their #1... It has Paul Newman, my all time fav actor and Jennifer Jason Leigh, my all time fav actress!! (I think she's incredibly underrated and not given enough meaty roles, especially nowadays)I actually consider it sort of a Christmas movie."Say, buddy, what takes fifty years to get up to the top floor and thirty seconds to get down? Waring Hudsucker!"
Black Sabbath
Made it 20 minutes in before the copyright protection on the PS3 stopped the audio No worries, already had it Pre ordered and loved what I had seen so far, so I will definitely be blind-buying and will likely end up living it.On the bumped-topic of the Coen Brothers, the last movie I watched by them was O Brother Where Art Thou. Still love that one... I need to watch A Simple Man again sometime soon, though.

No cinavia bullshit. As for copying files bigger than 4GB, you need to format the USB first.
