Chewbacca
It's not oppening for me. What's there to see in the video?
Guest Len B'stard
Try this one boss:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeUAej0brz8Just clip from a gig in LA, they play a couple of the Unplugged tunes. I think it was like their last gig or something, 4 months before his death anyway.
Rustycage
You can see that the unplugged show really stuck with him. Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam acoustically at the beginning. According to friends, he was looking forward to doing acoustic songs after Nirvana broke up. I think it is pretty awesome to show where his head was at then. Definitely showing a new direction. Awkward looking vibe between the band members. I think this was right before the band broke up.
Guest Len B'stard
That boy could've done and been so much. Shit, he could've been nothing if he wanted but why the fuck go and do some shit like that?
rocknroll41
I think it was like their last gig or something, 4 months before his death anyway. It wasn't their last gig ever, just the last one in LA. Their last show was in Germany, about a month before his death. The portion of the gig in the vid is from the encore, where they focused the set on tunes from their famous MTV Unplugged show. Chewbacca
The youtube worked for me. Pretty cool, like an unplugged setlist with electric instruments.
JONEZY
Was this before or after the suicide attempt in Rome? As I recall, Kurt took a bunch of pills and OD'd, they pumped his stomach and he was OK. The story was that he had the flu, took some pills, drank some champagne, passed out, they took him to the hospital.
wasted
He took some of Courtneys prescription pills by accident. Courtney ordered the champagne. I cant remember but very suspucious. In the Pines seemed to be aimed at Courtneys affairs with other rock stars.
Guest Len B'stard
It was like a blister pack of rofies so it couldntve been accidental. How can you accidentally take 10 odd fuckin pills? That accidental thing was a blag they put out. wasted
I was being sarcastic in that i think she crushed them up in the champagne. Then left him on his own to drink it.
J Dog
I'm all about Nirvana as a group but I would have loved to find out what a Cobain solo album sounded like.
Guest Len B'stard
His is one of few celeb deaths i recall feeling rotten about. Marlon Brando was another although his was at least timely. Don't get me wrong, I didn't cry or go on a pilgrammige to somewhere where he took a shit once to leave a lit candle there but i do remember feeling sorta oddly gutted. I really really really really liked him. Krist said it best 'he just shouldn't've done that'. Edited January 18, 2014 by sugaraylen
wasted
You get the feeling he was actually ashamed. That's why we feel bad about it.
