Lithium
He was the type of actor whose name alone could raise interest for a film because anyone who have an interest in cinema knows that he was good in anything he'd ever been in. classicrawker
Back on topic so sad to hear of his passing as he was such a talented actor and from the interviews I have heard a real nice human being...........edit: So you are editing peoples posts responding to Sunny's yet you don't edit his? what's the dealio with that?BS and I already made statements to leave that argument out of the thread, I just edited the bit out and left the bottom sentence in since it was relevant to the topic at hand. I'm not hiding his post because we made statements about that exact post out in the open for everyone to see. Fair enough, thanks for taking the time to respond...............can't say I agree with your reasoning but that is your privilege.......... Black Sabbath
Anybody know if he was involved in any projects? He had two other movies coming out this year: A Most Wanted Man and God's PocketShowtime had a new show coming out as well, called "Happyish" that he was set to star in and apparently filmed some stuff for it. Hopefully they can still work him into it a little bit.
Redhead74
Wow, this is really sad news. He had so much talent and one of his great skills besides acting was his ability to pick a really good film, as opposed to accepting every shitty script that came his way. He was a very unique individual and I always got this sense of some instability in him. Not all that surprising that he's gone, it seems to be the way with the really creative ones. RIP. Had to leave it, not because of the weed bit but moreso just derailing in general. back on topic... I think I may watch Magnolia in a little while. Such a hidden gem. RussTCB
Fucking dammit man. This sucks so much.Totally agree. One of my favorite actors. If it is drugs, just another waste.Yeah, definitely one of my favorites. Just recently I've been adding blu-rays to my collection of his movies. This sucks.Loved him in Charlie Wilson's War.YES. Haven't watched that for years. That may be my required tribute watching pick.Extremely sad to hear. RIP.
T.wa.T
Last two weeks or so I've been seeing news articles about a big batch of heroin that has been being sold from Ohio to New York. There's over a dozen overdose/deaths related to this dope. I wonder if he got some of that shit.

James Bond
Damn, that was random and unexpected. Great actor; I've always been a fan of his work. Rest in peace!
Silent Jay
the final hunger games is still filming...wonder if he's finished his parts? No, he had only seven days left to shoot his parts. But at this point, who cares about Hunger Games.
OmarBradley
His performance in The Ides Of March was good, his performance in Before The Devil Knows You're Dead was excellent. Upsetting, but let this be a lesson about drugs, specifically heroin; it's just not worth the price/risks. Patience 4 Axl
He didn't die that far from Heath Ledger . Both were in downtown Manhattan. Can't believe that was just over 6 years ago already.
highvoltage
Very sad news. He was easily one of the best (current) actors in the world.

Might have to rearrange and make his role a bit smaller in the second one but he'll be there.
Estranged Reality
Incredibly sad news. He was truly one of the great character actors of his generation, and it's depressing to think of all the great roles he probably had in his future that we'll never get to see now.
The Black
One of my favorite actors, never even knew he had any problems with narcotics. Such a terrible waste, he will be missed.
appetite4illusions
To think he had been sober for over twenty years and just recently fell off the wagon. Supposedly, there was something like eight empty bags of what was obviously heroin scattered in his apartment. He was on quite the bender. It was always a joy to watch him perform. Thankfully, his work is immortal.
Jabberwocky
Totally unexpected. I didn't know he did H. The movies I've seen him in always made the film better. RIP PSH Edited February 3, 2014 by Jabberwocky
