When did they last play Used to Love Her? Not one of my favourite songs but it is a legitimate set change.

They played at last year, if not in 2014. The whole situation pisses me off. Morrissey started touring 2 weeks ago (you may not like him) and I'm following his gigs too. He's played songs never played before, new songs and at least reorders the set list. He also has a very clever marketing campaign for his new album (1 single in each of the last 2 weeks, spoken word videos). I just wish Axl or someone with influence over him gave a shit! This is getting so boring! Even 2003-2005 was better than this; at least we knew a new album was in the pipeline!

After 'bored to death', what's the next step?

Not following the band anymore I guess. With just one new song things would be so much better, how can it be that hard??

well it's quite simple : axl knows that 99% (if not 100%) of the people who attend his shows don't care at all about a new song.

so, he's not gonna play a new song just to content that very small part of his fandom who still cares about something new.

I disagree. I think Axl is scared as hell to let anyone hear anything he's created after CD was largely ignored. So now he disguises himself in 17 layers of clothing, interacts with the audience not at all, and hides backstage any chance he can get.

Honestly, your logic is ridiculous when songs like The Seeker and all of the jam bullshit are in the set.

The setlist is identical other than UTLH. It' one thing to do that on a tour, but at a residency that's just plain ridiculous. I brought up how well The Mighty Mighty Bosstones mix up their setlists at their annual Hometown Throwdown residency, here's how their first two nights compared last year to GN'R's first two nights:

All Things Considered

The Impression That I Get

A Pretty Sad Excuse

And here's a key for the little symbols I added:

# - Non-album tracks (A vast majority of these are only known to the most diehard fans - b-sides, unreleased tracks, VA compilation tracks, etc.)

* - First time played since the reunion (Meaning these songs haven't been played since at least 2003, and one of which hadn't been played since 1991)

^ - Live debut

Now, when I brought up how well the Bosstones manage to mix it up at their residencies, someone said that's because they have a bigger catalogue than GN'R. This is true, but it's not significantly bigger (9 albums in 30 years, almost all about 10 or 11 songs each). Still, what's stopping GN'R from mixing it up just using songs they've played over the last few years, let alone on this tour? Throw in Shackler's, You're Crazy, My Michelle, hell, have Tommy sing Attitude and Raw Power for his solo spot. I can't think of any conceivable reason things need to be this static at a residency.
