If you ''go British' throughout you will be alright provided you buy the EPs and the London Sessions. If you go yankee doodle dandy they miss songs also. The Rolling Stones early discography is more complicated than Latin. It is best to stick to one. The UK one in layman's terms, - The Rolling Stones (EP) - The Rolling Stones (LP) - Five By Five (EP) - The Rolling Stones No 2 - Got Live If You Want It! (EP) - Out of Our Heads (UK version, opening with She Said ''Yeah'') - Aftermath (UK version, opens with Mother's Little Helper). - Between the Buttons (UK version, opens with Yesterday's Papers) Buy the London Sessions also. And it is plain sailing hence forward.

If you have been listening to the Yankee ones you probably have heard those also. That is basically the crux of the matter - it was the same with The Beatles: the Yanks didn't like EPs and preferred singles on their LPs, whereas the Brits loved EPs and liked stand along singles. So the Yanks would remove songs from the UK version to make room for singles and EP songs, and create ''new'' albums from these songs. There are two extra albums to buy if you go yankee (but then we also have to acquire the EPs and the London Sessions).
