People who say he was just some wild mercurial uncontrolled can’t-do-the-same-thing-twice sort of drummer should listen to this album, its still wild but there’s a fair amount of control and he replicated it pretty damn well in a live setting, its just beautiful, Moonie was like the engine of that band as Daltrey says. 2

DieselDaisy
The new Bob Dylan album is very good - possibly a masterwork, Very curious line here, Quote Black rider, black rider, hold it right there The size of your cock will get you nowhere Only Dylan could get away with comparing himself to Anne Frank, Quote I'm just like Anne Frank, like Indiana Jones And them British bad boys, The Rolling Stones Quote Hush, little children, you'll understand The Beatles are comin', they're gonna hold your hand Slide down the banister, go get your coat Ferry 'cross the Mersey and go for the throat There's three bums comin' all dressed in rags Pick up the pieces and lower the flags I'm going to Woodstock, it's the Aquarian Age Then I'll go to Altamont and sit near the stage Put your head out the window, let the good times roll There's a party going on behind the Grassy Knoll There is just so many lyrics I could cite. My favourite songs thus far, ''Black Rider'', ''Crossing the Rubicon'', ''Goodbye Jimmy Reed'' - there isn't a bad one on there. I highly recommend this album.

DieselDaisy
Prime time 1970s pomp era Shakey. Neil Young filed it away as it was ''too personal'', and I can rather understand his point when I listen to the opener 'Separate Ways' for example, a masterpiece. This line here highlights Neil's guilt on relationship break-up: ''sharin' our little boy who grew from joy back then''. It is achingly personal and almost reminiscent of Plastic Ono period Lennon. It is a sequel to Harvest musically, but I feel this album is stranded mid-way between the ''Ditch trilogy'' and Harvest, which it literally is recording wise. It isn't true to say it is basically ''more of the same'' pertaining to Harvest. I think that is to misunderstand that interview with Neil all those years ago. And 'Homegrown', a throw away comic number on American Stars 'n Bars, is a revelation here - a truly superior take on that song! I cannot decide if I prefer this version of 'White Line' or the Horse's either. On 7/1/2020 at 6:40 PM, Dazey said: Where the fuck have you been? Is Anything Goes still full of wokery?
