Forsaken
Yeah I like his work but he definitely works best with Slash and Izzy - vice versa too. They all need each other to get to their best. Oh hey you, welcome back!

wasted
Who wrote RNDTH. Is it mainly a Stradlin song with the riff from the guitar tech, then Axl wrote lyrics. Or was Axl more involved than that. That applies to most of the songs. Is the fact that his vocal melody is going to guide the song mean that he's always involved. It's part of a broader question I wanted to ask. I was watching some Angel Dust videos the making of and Patton picks up a guitar and plays one of the tracks. How much guitar can Axl or Patton play and how much are they involved in the music. Bobbo
He's nothing without, at least, Izzy for songwriting and Slash for the essential complementary sound. It's the same vice versa. The nu guys, talented as they are, just never really complimented him anywhere as close as Slash and Izzy did.Whole is better than sum...blah blah...you get the point.'Estranged' is awesome, but what is is without the guitar parts? We've all heard that original instrumental piano demo.Slash got jobbed on a writing credit, in my view.Thousand times yes Edited June 13, 2014 by Bobbo
