Bitcoin No Longer "Decentralized"

Bitcoin was introduced as a "rebel" currency. Their biggest thing was that it was decentralized so that no one could abuse it and control it. Now that it's centralized, it's no different than any other currency except extremely more risky, since it is not controlled or backed by any government.

Bitcoins is the cash, as I understand it. Just as you don't hold dollars in your hand much these days, you use debit and credit cards, you would not hold bitcoins either.

It doesn't surprise me that ecash exists and it doesn't surprise me that it will ultimately be controlled like other currencies.
