I voted "All of the above", but I'm not actually sure. Which I know isn't helpful. I simply didn't take to the majority of the songs - not in the way that I did with Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusion.

That's not to say that I hated the entire album. I love This I love and I quite like Madagascar. I guess I want passion. Heart. Soul. Originality. Songs that you can't get out of your head. And guitar solos that make you feel that special something deep down in your gut. If that makes sense...

CD is very similar to the other GNR albums, it's almost 50/50 breeding. But it's played by 90s guitarists with a 90s production team of Beavan/Wallace/Costanzo. It doesn't have the balls of the 80s hard rock bands. Sunset Strip is long gone. For me I liked the 90s bands but I wanted something a bit more rock n roll and less depressing and that is CD. CD is way more uplifting than most grunge bands, a little bit more tuneful than industrial bands and a whole bunch more romantic and glamorous. I liked NIN but mainly the first ones that are more rocking. CD is like GNR's Achtung Baby it's very rock. Maybe CD II is a bit wilder and maybe grander and more OTT, a couple of 10 minute epics would be nice. a 10 minute nu metal epic. Maybe showing some punk teeth.

CD has so many flaws and I've talked about them so many times.... I voted for the 3rd option.

What flaws? It's fucking perfect. Maybe it's too complex for your ears. :shrugs:

Give me more of the same, more Bucket/Robin/Brain/ Better Catchers N' Twats, meaner, darker sounds good to me.

Chinese is my favorite album of the all time. I want what Axl has planned which had been described as darker and heavier. I can't wait to hear what Axl has planned for us.

I'm hoping for a dark baroque Dj n Axl song, maybe a rocker and a ballad but might have to wait for CD III for that.

There's nothing complex about CD.

Dude... I STILL can't wrap my head around Finck's riffs. Listen carefully. Chinese is hella complex. Even compared to the human brain. Especially yours.

I think multitracks are a great way to see what CD really is about, it's just a huge mix of different things that I never get tired of keeping discovering. I understand that some people may call that overproduction, but for me it's quite unique and interesting

Yeah, it's like an onion. Got layers. I fuckin' love onions.
