I will try it next time Experiment in Santiago, Chile. Guy gives compliments to other guys.... and guess what happens.. Hmmm, let's see....man hits on heterosexual men on the street and ends up being told to stop.... and some of them push him. You see this as strange, why?Not much stranger than men assuming every woman walking down the street is heterosexual, single, seeking attention, looking for a partner, wanting sex and all those things men assume about women. Your prejudice against men is staggering.Let me give an example of your extremely flawed logic. Two men rob a liquor store. This must mean that most men rob liquor stores.Robbing a liquor store is wrong.I will start a campaign telling all men how bad it is to rob liquor stores and how it negatively affects people.Like seriously, please stop insulting our intelligence and keep your prejudices to yourself. Saying every person walking down a street is what you ASSUME they are (probably according to looks) is the ultimate act of prejudice.Like seriously, stop insulting my intelligence and keep your ego to yourself. Anything else you would like correction on?

Anything else you would like correction on?However, since many individuals may fail to report outside the heterosexual norm define their sexuality in their own unique terms, it is difficult to fully grasp the size of the LGBT population. And even if the majority of them were heterosexual, being homosexual doesn't equal being a whore. They could have been all gay and still get offended by some random person sexually approaching them on the street. That's the whole issue with street harassment of women.Your mathematics are bollocks when it comes to understanding the feelings of human beings. Popular Post Redhead74
A student showed this video at school assembly as part of the "news". Honestly? Go fuck yourself. MAYBE there's like one instance of legit harassment in the video. Maybe. What do you all think? Would love to hear the female perspective. P4A's city. Where you at, girl? Holy shit! 62 pages......needless to say I haven't read the whole thread. But I'd like to put my 2 cents in. On the surface these comments can't really be defined as 'harassment'. There's really no law against saying words like "Damn!" or "How you doing?" or even "Hey, beautiful". From time to time and depending on one's mood, they can be received as a compliment, but it's really the tone of the comment that determines whether its derogatory or not....and let's face it.....a lot, or even most of these comments and actions were projected in a derogatory fashion. There was an insinuation from some of the comments that the girl should be grateful for the remark when all she is doing is walking down the street and minding her own business. On Wednesday I bought some lunch and was waiting to cross the road, heading back to work. All of a sudden a guy waiting next to me says "You've got a really good look". At the time I was texting one of my friends, so minding my own business, but at the compliment I thanked him and was genuinely grateful for the comment. The lights changed and I started to cross and so did he and he just walked next to me and continued on with his 'conversation' about my 'look'. Having been appreciative of the compliment I didn't want to be rude so I responded in a friendly manner, but geeez, was I happy when I reached the doors of my work! It really wasn't inappropriate because the guy wasn't rude but I started to feel uncomfortable because he was a complete stranger and didn't know the first thing about me. I was just walking down the street, minding my own business, but for a brief moment I was actually uncomfortable because this guy just started talking to me about me. It started off OK and then became kind of, inappropriate. The thing is, there's a line.....a nice, genuine heartfelt compliment is a lovely thing, but the tone of a 'compliment' can quickly become derogatory and that's not cool. Especially day in day out. The main reason being that women alone on the street don't really feel that safe when they have random attention from strangers being placed on them regarding their appearance. There's no insinuation that their safety is actually at risk but the thought always crosses your mind of "how am I going to get out of this if it goes pear-shaped?"
