Rick Moranis is not only famous but universally loved. Definitely the wrong one to randomly punch.

I doubt the guy even knew who it was though.

Rick Moranis seems like a genuinely lovely guy. The scumbag who punched him is a disgraceful little shit.

They tolerated Aryans in other countries, especially Germanic people who they basically saw as part of the German family.

I know it was anyone who wasn't German and that included Christians and gays as well. Yeah, Hitler wanted to get rid of any person that he didn't think was a pure blood German. Meanwhile. he was one himself.

National Socialism had a distinct racial hierarchy which, in brief, goes,

Quote

Aryan

Nordic-Aryan (Herrenvolk) 1/ Northern German and Scandinavian 2/ Dutch then English (Hitler believed that England was ran by Jews!). Northern France a bit also.

Alpine-Aryan: Southern German/Austrian, Swiss, some racial traits in France also.

Mediterranean-Aryan: South of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece

Untermenschen

1/ Slavs 2/ Romani 3/ Jews

All Aryans were fitting and desirable in Third Reich however, it was conceived, that the Alpine/Mediterranean Aryan branches would in time be replaced by Nordic traits through ''natural selection''. The Untermenschen should however be segregated from Volk and killed (either by being worked to death as a slave class in accordance with Lebensraum, or instantaneous extermination).

To all intents and purposes, homosexuals, (mentally/physically) disabled and even to a certain extent socialists-communists and a rather vague ''criminal'' class - a dumping ground which included everybody from alcoholics, actual persistent criminals to critics of the regime/war - were all considered racial degenerates and consequentially lumped in with the Untermenschen.

This schematic varied over time giving Realpolitik and its own inherent stupidity. Given the Japanese alliance, the Japanese came to be regarded as ''honorary Aryans'' and the Ugric Finns were dumped into the Nordic category for similar reasons. It also became expedient to believe that Slavic Poland had some Nordic blood in order to ''Germanize'' Poland, i.e., an administrative thing!

If you like your young homosexuals' heads boiling in a stew, I recommend the following - Tennant is astounding,

(Actual fact it is less about the crimes and more about the investigation and trial of Nilsen).

I was pretty impressed with most of the television media.  They seemed to take the "high road" and either not mention it (or barely mention it) in the post-debate news.

Twitter/Facebook on the other hand....ugh.

The curious thing about serial killers is they are sort of windows on their zeitgeist. Moors Murders is a sort of vignette on 1960s working class culture and living conditions. You have it all really including (urban) slum clearances/relocation (to housing estates) which changed the fabric of Britain in the 1960s - Brady and Hindley were relocated from Gorton to Wardle Brook Avenue* which was one of the earliest suburbs built at the time, which of course are now ubiquitous. And David Smith and Maureen had the 1960s look,

David_and_maureen_smith_nee_hindley.jpg

The Hindleys grew up in an archetype working class (Coronation Street) environment, terraced two-up/two-down, outside toilet. As in fact did all the victims. These were not areas middle class/upper class British people generally entered, and I don't mean that in a negative way as they were generally safe ''self-policing'' communities in which ''everybody knows each other''.

* Where Brady murdered Edward Evans and Lesley Ann Downey.

Starting to wonder if the reason the Waitrose classes loath the working class is, not so much Brexit, but because they have provided Britain with so many serial killers!

Fred West was a borderline simpleton and spoke in a thick west country accent (''Ma Rosemary''). Sort of comical really. It is easy to see why people see Rosemary as the one in charge. West speaking,

PS

My first thought when I heard Fred used to hire Rosemary out to West Indian migrants was, ''Christ, didn't we put them through enough during the Windrush scandal?'' haha.

Who'd admit that today? Just imagine some ''cool'' Rastafarian fella in dreadlocks keeping that dirty secret to himself.

It is interesting. Along these lines, I like when horror films are rooted in class, real estate, etc.

Saw a news doc not long ago about how an Ontario city, London, was home to 3-4 active serial killers in the 60-70's. At the time the population was 200 000. Leading investigator believes that one is still out there. IIRC they said that London has continued to see more serial killers then average. Its a sterile town. Separately I learned that back then, for reasons unknown to me, London was regularly used as a test city for new products like ATMs. They also STILL have an Occupy thing going. So you had poverty coexisting with brand new, flashy technology for the monnied. I just find the class/consumer/industry progress thing interesting. Couldnt necessarily unpack precisely why I find it so fascinating. But like you say, its some insight.

Well, that is awesome! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be giving out any candy this Halloween. And it sucks!

I phoned and ordered a Chinese last night from my local takeaway The Wok Inn. Ordered a load of stuff and they said it would be ready in 45 minutes. Great I thought and cracked open another beer. I walked over there 45 minutes later and they said there was no record of my order. I kept saying I did definately phone through. I checked my phone after a while of this and turns out I'd rang the OTHER Chinese in my contacts The Chun Ho. Fuck! The Chun Ho is not walkable so I had to ring them and tell them I'm really sorry but I don't want the 20 quid worth of food they just cooked for me anymore. What a twat.

Is this not a big expanded version of, ''they all look the same''?

Takes ages for a delivery and it's only up the road. Well the one I actually  rang isn't up the road it's about 5 fucking miles away but that's where I went wrong.

Also @spunko12345, how the fuck are they nice houses, thats a fucking council estate

That doesn't look like the houses I drove past. The ones I saw are like those massive tall terraced houses you get in Bath and Kensington. Terraced yes but about three stories high.
