RussTCB Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 There's a dude named Doug Church that had a series of CDs called "Kingtinued" where he did a bunch of songs that came out after Elvis passed. Dude sounds exactly like mid-late 70s Elvis to me: Quote
DR DOOM Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Dread Zeppelin were (are?) actually really bloody great. Edited March 11, 2015 by DR DOOM 1 Quote

Len Cnut Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Ian Curtis modelled his vocals on Iggy and Jim Morrison, who in turn were just basically doing their idea of Elvis singing so there's a logic there. Sinatra and Elvis, that was the kinda tone Jim was going for. 1 Quote

Just put it in the middle of a playlist and didn't say a word, just wanted to see his reaction when it played. Man his face was priceless when it hit him that it was "Elvis" singing Joy Division. He just couldn't get his head around it at all. When I told him what it was he nearly fell off his chair, said he thought he was going crazy Speaking of Jim Morrison Edited March 11, 2015 by Facekicker Quote
