I've been burned out on traditional first and third-person shooting games and was looking for something different.

So far it's been fun, though a bit frustrating at times.  It's interesting how they have taken some of the design elements of Tyson's Punch Out and incorporated them into boss battles under the sea.  Plus it's been fun to treat beaches as an all-day buffet.

Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Psychonauts 2 and a bunch of other Xbox titles shown at E3 looking fantastic. Pretty hyped for Halo Infinite now tbh.

I’m super pumped for Forza Horizon 5.  The FH series is one of my favourite video game series. I’ve reached 100 percent for the entire series, save for FH3 (which I still haven’t picked up yet).

FH5 looks like it will be another great entry into the series.  I hope it will play on my Xbox One X as I really don’t want to have to spend $600 on a new console just yet.

We'll have a race sometime, if you'd like. (I assume it'll have crossplay?)

Sure!

No idea about crossplay. I did read that current xbox one owners should be able to play series x games through Microsoft’s streaming platform.

Sweet. I'm just on PC at the moment. But my plan is to get a SeriesX at some point for the convenience of it plus it's actually good value and will delay the need to buy a whole new PC. Just fyi the latest graphics cards here cost $4,000NZD it's appalling.

Just fired up Doom: Eternal again for the first time in ages. They’ve just released a new RTX update which lets me play it at 120 FPS with full ray tracing. Fuck me it’s a stunning looking game.

I'm currently playing Judgement on the PS5. I've been fascinated by modern Japanese culture for ages, and the graphics on the PS5 are so life-like that I feel like I am walking the streets of Tokyo.
Judgement is highly addictive and highly recommended if you like Sega's Yakuza style games.

I recently finished Resident Evil Village. What a blast. On PS5 it’s beautiful. I heard lots of bad stuff about it, but to me, it’s one of my favorite! Waiting on tomorrow for Tales of Arise and drift hunters v2

for me some times the graphics looked really good, at other times it looked pretty poor, like an older ps4 game, some of the bricks on the walls looked like wallpaper effect rather than bricks that would have shape to them, where as in other areas the bricks looked real, at certain parts the stuff on the tables looked like they were flat and had no effort made to look like it was something on a table, again in other areas it looked like items were sitting on a table, the fat guy you buy stuff from (cant remember his name) from what i remember his legs and gut look low resolution and pretty laughable when watching how they move,  nothing that serious but when you are running on what is ment to be a high powered ps5 id expect the same level of detail in the full game, i dont remember demon souls looking great in some areas and then really poor in others

I'm near the end of my third playthrough on PC and it looks amazing on high settings with all the ray tracing effects turned on. It's a lot of fun on subsequent playthroughs once you've got the Stake Magnum with infinite ammo.

I'm not a gambling pro but  I like to play at posh bingo sometimes. Much better in my opinion than other hobbies :D   Anyway, this platform is extremely easy to use, even for people who have never used online gambling sites. They provide a huuuge range of slots!

Very excited to play Forza Horizon 5 that came out this week.

FH is easily my favourite racing series of all time.  I reached 100 percent completion on first, second, and fourth games.  Still have to play the third.

Other than that, not much else this holiday season that I'm all that excited about.  I know Halo is a big one for many people, but outside of Halo 3, I never got into the series.

Just finished Metroid Dread yesterday with 100%. Loved it though I was a little apprehensive from seeing the screenshots. Thankfully it plays brilliantly and very Metroid(y).

Next on the list is Hollow Knight and Hades which I've been playing on PC Game Pass and look pretty solid so far.

I think maybe you should give Hot Wheels Unleashed a try. Looks surprisingly great.
