username
I rewatched the Buena Vista Social Club film. The one about the project Ry Cooder did in the mid 90's on Cuba. When the embargo was still completely on. He went there and brought the greatest cuban musicians still alive (some retired, but they came out of retirement for this) together to make an album, perform concerts and finally manage to perform in New York Ciity - a place no Cuban could really go at the time. Beautiful album, music, film and live concert.

Powderfinger
Was feeling nostalgic this morning and stuck on Velvet Revolvers set from Donnington 2005. I realized I was lucky enough to have caught them on 5 occasions (this being one of them, Sabbath headlined and were the bigger draw for me) But the Ambassador gigs in Dublin were the best of the lot. Small venue on what turned out to be their last tour. 2 great nights.... I got a half smoked slash cigarette from a kind bouncer one of the nights. Weiland was a great frontman.... Yep posted my own thoughts in a reply in one of the main discussion threads.

dontdamnmeuyi2015
I heard the new Ozzy song with Post Malone. It's okay. Post curses alot in the song. There's no real video just a photo of Ozzy, which is pretty cool, and he and Post singing the song.

Dean
I watched the Travis documentary over the weekend on Sky Arts. Not everyone's cup of tea but they've written some great songs and this documentary shows great insight on how they have managed to survive the Biz.
