Estranged Coma Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 We are 5 years removed from the heralded 2010 vocal period which was 4 years after the 2006 vocals. Will we ever see Axl give us another year at the level of 2010 or 2006 in terms or vocals?
Nosaj Thing Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Will we ever see Axl give us another year at the level of 2010 or 2006 in terms or vocals?I hope, yes. I think, no.
Gordon Comstock Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 He's still capable of sounding like Axl Fucking Rose, so, I hope so. I think the chances of a full tour where he sounds at least as good or better than the end of the last Vegas run are slim, unfortunately, but there's a chance nonetheless.
AxlisOld Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 It requires training, and warmup, and being in good shape (at his age). So absolutely not.
GUNNER PT Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Will we ever see Axl give us another year at the level of 2010 or 2006 in terms or vocals?Do you mean, with the same consistency? As time goes by, my hopes are going away ... A couple of good performances can be possible, though
drtydane Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 There aren't even any tour dates. Don't really matter what he sounds like yelling at the tv while watching Slash on the Ellen show as far as I'm concerned.
MrSoftie Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Think he already kind of proved he can, at Vegas last year. To maintain that voice for a longer period he just needs to take better care of himself.
trqster Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Problem is that Axl most probably won't give flyin'fuck about performing at his potential best... No matter how sad and unfortunate it is for us all (fans).
MrSoftie Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 While we're on the discussion of 2010 vocals... I'll just drop this here. Axl and Bach on Nightrain:https://youtu.be/-OtTptJwbi4
