WAR41
Hey all,Mods feel free to move/delete if this has already been posted.Earlier this month Barrett Martin of Mad Season posted on Facebook that he and Mike McCready would be recording a new Mad Season album with Duff on bass. http://www.alternativenation.net/mad-season-recording-new-material/

evergreen_layne
Well Mad Season was Layne's baby he designed all the artwork, wrote all the lyrics (except Lanegan's 2 lines in Long Gone Day), and wrote some musically as well (I believe I Don't Know Anything is all Layne for music/lyrics). That being said I would love to hear what Duff (replacing departed and beloved bassist Baker), McCready and Barrett come up with. You'd have to have Lanegan on some of it and maybe a collection of people singing the rest. Have Cornell do a song or two and I'm sure Eddie Vedder would contribute. RichardNixon
They have a new live album out this month, 9/28, with Cornell on vocals and Duff on bass.
AxlisOld
Cornell would be the only person I'd think could come close to filling Layne's shoes.
Gackt
They should do a Temple of the Dog kind of thing, with Vedder and Cornell sharing vocal duties on an album. The two bands are like brothers anyway.
RnT
Love Mad Season and I think vocals by Cornell or Vedder will be too PJ/Sourgardenish for it. Maybe Maynard form Tool will be a better choice Edited August 19, 2015 by RnT
Intercourse
I'm a huge Stayley fan but never precious about things like this unless they shit on the legacy. Looking forward to this, I doubt Duff will take part in a sub par farce.
Klay
Mad Season without Layne is like GN'R without Axl, makes no sense.
