spunko12345 Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) In my last job I was a support worker and one of my appointments was with a guy with autism who would only deal with me the appointment was something like 11am- 2pm i was genuinely sick but they desperately needed me to come in just to do one specific piece of work so I said I'd come in at 11 do the appointment but then I'd need to go back home as I wasn't well.So i helped them out of a tight spot to my own detriment as i was feeling fucking wretched and the sons of bitches counted it as 2 instances of sickness because I was off in the morning, returned to work then went off again in the afternoon. I would have been better off refusing to help out and just staying home cause that would have just been recorded as one sickness.
