Val22
I bet their sales drop drastically and they put the naked women back in a few months.Hefner has had nude women for over 70 years why stop now?I mean porn is at an all time high so it doesn't make sense to try to be serious now. Snake-Pit
I think it was a smart move. If I still read magazines, I'd be far more tempted to buy a non-pornographic Playboy. "That was the point."

Len Cnut
No its not because Playboys primary function isnt/wasn't as porn. Birds knockers are not for example a necessary component in attempting to understand or appreciate an article about Bertrand Russell. Have you ever picked up a playboy and read it?It's a men's magazine - health, politics, social issues, etc are all covered. Playboy magazines never show sex acts, so it's not even classified as pornographic material in the strictest sense of the word.

dalsh327
This might only apply to Playboy in America and a few countries, some countries might continue to let it stay the same. The website has a Playboy Plus where they'll have nude photos, it sounds like they're pushing subscriptions and probably will throw in magazines for free.
