Cock rock chemistry. Nothing like what Axl and Slash had on stage. (still have imo, just unused cause Axl was upset for 20 years)

And this is a great pic. Slash looks cool as fuck. Better shades, better clothes and smoking. But it's good he doesn't smoke anymore.

Steven Tyler is still awesome, even at this age. At this point he is a way better performer than Axl.

Slash is still great, better than Joe Perry.

Aerosmith puts on a great show and I enjoy it more than GnR. Steven Tyler is the main reason for that. The guy is crazy.. Every show he could hurt himself falling of a piano, or swinging over the crowd like a maniac.

Slash and Axl had the best chemistry in rock. That's why people name their pets after them, and dress up as them for Halloween etc. They've become such an iconic duo.

But as excited as I am about a possible reunion, I can not imagine them on the same stage together after all the hostilities. Let alone being all chummy and close.

It might be a bit awkward tbh.

I think Ashba & Axl had great chemistry... they were always laughing (at Djs mistakes) and fawning over each other... :P

In reality (for a moment)... stage chemistry wise, Axl and Slash beat out most other bands (IMO), especially if we're talking about early Guns. Both of those guys at their peak were incredible to watch, running all over the place, propping each other up etc. great stuff. Joe and Steven have their own thing, but it's a bit more restrained in comparison.

I don't know man, I thought what I said was relevant to the topic. You go back and watch some shows. The on stage live chemistry is there. Even a kinda ok show like the taped MTV Ritz '88 show clearly demonstrates that. Axl feeding off Slash's playing and Slash just jizzing all over the place, inspired by Axl's presence and voice.

How can 2 guys with a 6 year run even be compared with guys who have been together what 40 years or something?

What would the argument be that 2 guys who have not spoken in 20 some odd years have better chemistry guys that have performed together for several decades? I love guns but that doesn't make much sense.

And because it's totally OK to not automatically assume everything associated with GNR is the absolute best thing ever just because you post on a GNR forum.

It's about the chemistry they spread together onstage.

You can't say they play together for 40 years so they are more charismatic.

Axl and Slash together onstage back in the day for me 24/7
