xBrownstonex Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Now that the big three are back together, you think there's any chance they'll finally release at least some of the illusion concerts? They could offer all of them for a few bucks to download each. I want them! 1
Estranged1 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 We've been clamoring for these for years. I guess the chances of them seeing the light of day are better than ever now. Fingers crossed.
dalsh327 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hopefully they shot full length concerts on film when they made the documentary. Duff sounds like he put his own documentary on hold.
classicrawker Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Considering what we have seen released so far I would not hold my breath. Axl does not seem interested in releasing live stuff........
NicDwolfwood Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 there are alot of pro shot material on youtube already. Sure they could remaster these tapes and release them to us fans, but I'd much rather see the Perfect crime documentary be put out, than a bunch of UYI concerts that already exist on youtube
xBrownstonex Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 I wasnt talking about the existing ones, but about those tons of shows that never saw the light of day. At least not as a pro shot.
Asia Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 They should release all of them. Uncensored, uninterrupted, no cut-outs, exactly as it went. I would definitely pay for that... Why keep it in the basement now that they're not at war anymore?
cooker Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Considering what we have seen released so far I would not hold my breath. Axl does not seem interested in releasing live stuff........He had no problem releasing Appetite for Democracy.
6lake sa66ath Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I think there's a good chance they don't release anytime soon, because instead of promoting the comeback it's more like it's going to be an unfair comparison if they don't deliver the goods! 1

I want them!Want.Any and all unreleased stuff: want.I really hope that the flood gates open now for the exact reason you said. If the big 3 can stand on stage together, they can sure as hell sign some things that let us have all the unreleased treasures, right? 1
D-GenerationX Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Considering what we have seen released so far I would not hold my breath. Axl does not seem interested in releasing live stuff........He had no problem releasing Appetite for Democracy. But he's spoken openly about hating that tour. Those of us that collect bootlegs certainly have no shortage of evidence that most night he was in a shit mood.

Time makes you yearn.
TupacShakur Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I want the entire tour on blu-ray 5 disc set for $299,99
classicrawker Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Considering what we have seen released so far I would not hold my breath. Axl does not seem interested in releasing live stuff........ He had no problem releasing Appetite for Democracy.Just consider how many live releases Axl has approved in the life of the band. Before the recent NuGuns release we had exactly two. One mediocre live CD which was sweetened in the studio and the UYI Japan video.Maybe Axl will open the vaults like the Stones eventually did but all I am saying is based on his history I would not hold my breath.......
sonofnazareth Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 release rock in rio 91 in stunning audio/video quality please 1

All the bootlegs that I have prove the exact opposite, he was enjoying being on stage then a million times more than anytime later.
Wolfpac4life Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I've heard that Guns N Roses are putting together a documentary. It will feature the current re-group and rehearsals of band members and a backstory of how they got back together with interviews. Hopefully featuring old footage. The should call it the Anthology of Guns N Roses. They are looking at more ways of revenue than just concerts.

If anything it proves that Slash N' Duff don't mind having cameras around so why should anyone else (besides Axl who never comes to rehearsal so he wouldn't be expected).

It will have to feature one-on-one interviews with Axl. It will be a killer documentary
evergreen_layne Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I like that idea. What a great moment to be alive.
Carne_asaDA Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Supposedly Axl had all UYI shows recorded and stored somewhere.
Wolfpac4life Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Supposedly Axl had all UYI shows recorded and stored somewhere. That is correct. Slash said there was heaps of backstage footage recorded during this time, also a lot of acoustic stuff with Izzy and Duff. Would be great to finally see it all un-earthed
Andrew07 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 they should just release it like the grateful dead do with box sets of their tours, i would love some audio versions of the shows and obviously filmed shots too
