DR DOOM Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I love it.That post punk/new romantic era Iggy has sorely been neglected in recent years in favour of MR STOOGE PUNK but this sounds really really cool to me without being a carbon copy of say Sister Midnight, Bang Bang or whatever.Never been a fan of Josh Homme but I think this guy gets it.Very cool.edit:this 80's Iggy/Bowie song is severely underrated, kinda get a bit of this vibe off of Gardenia Edited January 24, 2016 by DR DOOM 2 Quote

I like it. It should at least be an interesting album if nothing else. I'm not a huge fan of Josh either, but I will say I've got into QOTSA over the past year or two. I think he's straight. And talking about hiding out in the desert for a few weeks, just making music, sometimes shit like that produces good quality stuff. Quote
Len Cnut Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I dont even know that much about Josh Homme, i know hes some meathead looking whiteboy from some band or another, I'll have a listen though Quote

Gave them a chance more or less from lack of good new-ish music. They're growing on me. Quote

Len Cnut Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Was it really? Shit, I shall have to listen to it then. Quote
J Dog Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 I've only listened to Songs for the Deaf (the one with Dave) and Lullabies to Paralyze. Liked them both. Quote
Len Cnut Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I only saw the one with the video where the deer kicks the fuck out of the band Heard the one even. Quote
Nicklord Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Every project with Josh Homme is amazing. Kyuss, QOTSA, Them Crocked Vultures (with JPJ and Grohl) EODM, Desert Sessions and this.He is a really cool and funny guy also. He throws people out of the concerts if they throw something at him but instead of doing what Axl did (leaving) he keeps going with the show even harder Quote
wasted Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 On the Live in London cd Homme stops the song Axl style and calls they guy who threw something a "cock smoker" Quote
